I'm a bit underwhelmed, I hoped we would see and hear more of Heejin, especially for how they hyped this.
Anyway, Heejin looked great! Once she grows up a bit more, she's going to fit "girl crush" types of concepts.

soo i didn't really pay much attention to loona prior to eclipse and i don't completely understand - is there a pattern to what songs get features/who gets featured? since both of kim lip's songs stayed solo and i don't think she showed up before, but then this (new version of a) song featured a member we already know, and love letter was both jinsoul and lip...and also jinsoul did a feature before?? is it gearing up for another subunit or is it just kind of a random, wait and see who gets featured where kind of thing? i hope that made sense/someone can make sense of it for me lol. i want to stan a bit!

Yes it looks like they're going back to the original pattern.
It was :
- Heejin - two solos (regular and acoustic versions of Vivid)
- Hyunjin - one solo and one duet
- Haseul - one solo and one trio (with Heejin and Hyunjin)
- Yeojin - one solo and two duets of the same song (Heejin/Hyunjin and Yeojin/Haseul)

Sub-unit + Vivi's debut who "introduced" the second group of girls with Jinsoul featuring on her bside (they also changed the design of their covers at that time)

And now:
- Kimlip - two solos
- Jinsoul - one solo and one duet

I'm expecting the new girl to have both Kimlip and Jinsoul on her bside, if BBC sticks to the pattern.

And then, sub-unit again with Kimlip, Jinsoul and the new girl + still a "girl crush" concept.

The 4 remaining girls are being picked among the gigantic number of trainees they have, they're likely going to have a sub-unit in 2018 with Yeojin (who was too young to promote with Loona 1/3 which is probably why Vivi made her debut through the sub-unit)

aah thank you so much!! this def clears it all up. i'm excited for the ~girl crush~ sub-unit, then. love letter is such a bop, i hope the next girl fits in well :)

I have high hopes! Loona's releases are so good (I personally like them all)
July girl is already on the bst youtube video (with the strawberry blond hair) but her face is blurred lol. At least they're already spending time together before the sub-unit :)

I doubt she will be in the next sub unit, i think she will be in the last one with girls around her age, i'm also sure she was not a part of Loona 1/3 because of her age.

I would have loved it they put Kim Lip on this. But there was hardly enough Heejin.
