A bit disappointed about no new season for Unpretty Rapstar :(
Where'd you hear this? UPRS usually has a new season after SMTM, so they can get those female contestants on the show. I'm sure there are idol rappers who could pad out the line-in. I don't really see any reason not to have it.
I like Tiger JK's old scary uncle act, Bizzy being all Mad Clown-ish afraid of him and every single thing Dynamic Duo did and said. Counting on them to bring the hilarious, cause we can't count on the younger tryhard teams to do so.
The rappers were all a bit eh to me. No one who really stood out imo. Except mah boy Geegooin, for all the wrong reasons...

This shit is my guilty pleasure, it's been hard waiting for the subs, plus we are 2 episodes behind. ;_; Ofc my ass is grateful to the subbing team always.
Anyway, what's up with so many young kids applying? They should think about introducing an age limit, especially with the High School Rapper being a thing as well. Dynamic Duo is hilarious, Gaeko is starting to make me feel things for him..... I agree with Jay about the previous contestants, especially those who have been on the show 2+ times or gotten some kind of a bigger exposure. But, I'm happy to see Junflow and Hash Swan. Idk how to feel about the kid from HSR that had a scandal :/ #gun looks embarrassing as fuck, idk why he's trying year after year, it's obvious he won't make it far :/ Also, I wanna burn whatever Dok2 has hanging from his head.
I like that Dean isn't putting a try-hard act, that all I want from this season!!11 I also get the feeling he might have been nervous, thus he had the cap on and was extra quiet. 1st generation killer, lmao
tbh i'm a bit confused as to why dean is here considering he's not a rapper, but then again zion.t was a judge last year so i guess it's not that important anymore. looking forward to the later episodes with the actual stages. rooting for punchnello
Just because you're not a rapper doesn't mean you don't know the industry. Dean has worked with a bunch of rappers, and has a pretty good ear for music, so he can at least provide insight to what a hot song is, and honestly that's the majority of what they end up doing. I think SMTM likes to bring the wild cards in too cause they have typically different opinions about what's good and that makes the show a little more compelling? Sometimes anyways haha
every year i keep coming back to this mess!!! i already love dynamic duo (espcially gaeko), they're hilarious and sweet. there hasn't really been a rapper yet that wowed me. nucksal was good but not amazing but i bet he'll do great during the live shows. i'm surprised at how many older and well known contestants decided to come back. like i don't really get why microdot is back but i guess he has his reasons.

first time watching this. there were so many kids lol. the one that got through that was like 13 was pretty good. i'm surprised so many well known rappers were there. none of the auditions blew me away though. hopefully someone will really impress me as the show goes on. i was glad to see a female get through. i only saw the one so i wonder how many more females are gonna make it.

Aside from Truedy being back (ugh) there are two female rappers in particular that got some shine during episode two. We still haven't seen everyone by the end of the episode either, so there may be more, but I doubt it.
Even though they showed both performances, only one of the two girls' performances are on youtube

love this mess of a show! im rooting for punchnello, hes adorbs and so small. i loove dynamic duo, i know theyre gonna be the comic relief of the show!
As usual, the raps become less impressive when you read they lyrics because they seem so plain and simple, but I guess reading a translation is very different from being fluent in the language and listening :P.
Penomeco and Nucksal's lyrics and raps stood out, also Wonjae (?). I like him so far~
