SM Entertainment revealed that his solo concert titled ‘OFF-SICK’ will be held from August 26 to 27 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Ticketing details will be announced at a later date.

He recently completed his first solo concert in Japan to sold out crowds on July 1 and 2 at the Nippon Budokan, but this will be his first in Korea.

Meanwhile, Taemin’s second Japanese mini album “Flame of Love” will be released on July 18.

That was quick, lol. Yay Taeminnie! I'm guessing his comeback will be sometime that month, too. Looking forward to the fancams already.

Olympic Park is so small! It can only hold 3K. Fans are pissed, tweeting about it with the hashtag #태민_솔로콘서트_올림픽홀_반대 (Against Taemin's Solo Con at Olympic Hall)

What was SM thinking, Taemin just sold out Nippon Budokan with 14K a day, lol.

The Koreans are tweeting about that too lol "He sold 27K in Japan and we get 3K? Wtf is this?" I'm kind of mad too, I would have loved to see him live but there's a bat's chance in hell of getting a ticket with only 3K -____-

that's what i'm thinking to. i feel like j-shawols getting first notice of the concert set them off and they're branching off of that. but, i agree. like sm has pulled so much shit with shinee and this is the first time that i've seen the outrage get so big that it made it's way to news portals. like i don't remember people being this upset when jjong was booked at an only slightly larger venue for x - inspiration last year, and all the outrage in the past regarding minimal concert dates with swc stuff has only ever resulted in an extra day getting added on.

exaaaaaactly. like their anger / annoyance is reasonable in regards to venue size and not getting first notice when the concert is in korea, but k-shawols have been pissed off about shinee's activities in japan for years now. add on the fact that taemin hasn't had a single event in korea this this / shinee has only had two and ... yeah. it's just ... anger.

i'm just curious if sm will actually do anything about it. like i said below: there's not many venue options. they're either only a tad bit bigger (and would still not be as big as budokan) or they're equal in size / larger to the venue that shinee has performed at in seoul and i kind of ... doubt that sm is gonna give him a venue bigger than shinee, as a whole, has gotten.

i've always heard conflicting capacity details about the inspiration venue. i know it was at least 4/4.5k but others say that it was closer to 6k. and that'd be a pretty decent size for a first concert ...? especially when you take into account that the venue for inspiration is the biggest that sm has ever given to one of their soloists. but i agree: if they made it a full weekend or even tacked on two concerts for a single day (like jjong did with inspiration) that'd accommodate at least 8k fans. still not enough but it's better than the alternative, i guess. but if they do end up changing the venue to a bigger one ... that better mean that they're going to end up going for bigger venues for their artists all around in the future because it's only fair.

tbh. i'd be surprised if they actually changed the venue - like taeyeon performed at olympic hall for persona earlier this year and i remember sones being pissed about it when the details came out, and then pissed again when the tickets sold fast but sm didn't change anything. (and we all know that taeyeon is more popular than probably all other sm idols.) most of the other venues they could choose from aren't much bigger, and taeyang is booked for jamsil on the same days. beyond that ... all of the venues are either equal in size to or bigger than the one that shinee normally holds their concerts at, so idk.

Hoping that the concert comes with a real comeback and not just a Korean version of Flame of Love. Even just a mini is fine. Give me another PYN/DD!

I assume this means a Korean comeback as well? Will I finally be getting the studio version of All About You that I have been praying for since he performed it at the gayo? And will he finally perform Ace in concert (it wasn't in Budokan con, such blasphemy)? All these questions! Press It will be a pretty tough album to follow tbh, it's a gem.

That concert hall capacity though. He sold out 14K A DAY in Japan, then they cram his Korean fans in a stadium less than 1/3 the size of Budokan? Welp.

Please perform Ace but I would also kill for a performance of Play Me.

i'm so happy for him! ;; i don't think he has time to have another comeback before the concert date because sm is booked with exo / soshi before then, and he's gonna be busy with stuff in japan + ot5 schedules through the first weekend of august, but.

super happy for him!! i wonder how much of the song line-up will change bc august is still some time away, he could def do way more kr songs /praying for play me and one by one and most importantly PLS RELEASE ALL ABOUT YOU/ but he must be so busy rn ;-; smtown like every weekend starting sundayi think ?? and also probably doing bits and pieces for shinee ot5 comeback likely soon after sept/oct, these boys are so busy wow, it feels so unlikely for him to do another kr comeback in between the already v busy time with shinee and sm's group comebacks so i'm just hoping he will release all about you as single or something or flame of love kr version to gather some attention for his concert

Was just readings tweets about the fan complaints regarding the venue. In any case, I'm happy for him! Every time I see articles like this I realize yet again how far he has gone as a performer.
