From what I understand Music Station is a pretty good notch on their belt. Kpop groups haven't gotten on it in a while. Their performance is also really good, the Japanese version of TT grew on me and is now officially excellent, and Momo is fine.

ugh I wish they got better Japanese lyrics though, it just screams half-assed to me and sounds like every other kpop song turned japanese T___T (no pun intended with the TT lol)

also 90k in three days is great! If kanjani8 weren't releasing their album and they released it on a slower week they would have gotten that number 1 on weekly!

momo's new hair looks so good, makes her stand out even more. chaeyoungie on the other hand... TT she looked so pretty with short hair (even though most of the time they styled it like shit) and now she kind of blends into everyone and looks meh.

their performance of TT was nice, it makes me like the japanese version at list a little bit. I hope they continue doing great and hope they sell a lot more <3

yep, that's the Japanese music industry for you in one sentence lmao. it's always interesting for me to see big K-pop groups go over there with all the extra hoops fans have to jump through to get the footage of their variety/music show appearances and keep it available...

anyway Chae looks better than I thought she would with the extensions (tbh I loved her short hair), the camerawork on this is bizarre though. also their sales are pretty amazing for their first release, I hope they can build on their momentum.

there are A LOT of great things that came out of this tho. the girls did such a good job - a lot of groups still lipsync on this show so i'm glad jype didn't break and make them lipsync

the interview was cute too, yoko from k8 was like "us too" when the host said they were all kansai

Oh wow. The thing is I've only been to Tokyo. If you are short of time, maybe Yoyogi Park to people watch. Lots of happenings in just one park! And you should try going to Enoshima. A bit far out from Tokyo but there's the sea, and the island itself is a lovely place!

I would recommend Yokohama, Mount Takao, Ghibli Museum, Odaiba (though RX-78 has been brought down and Unicorn is currenly under construction) but there's other things to explore! Oh, Skytree too. I would recommend to walk from Asakusa, you'll pass by the very pretty Sumida River!

Her language is fine but she get shat on for two reasons 1) she doesn't speak standard Japanese 2) she buffers sometimes when asked to speak on the spot -she's not a confident talker to begin with, but when asked suddenly she get even more flustered. so yah..

I always feel like translating a song from one language to another never actually works. Maybe because I am so used to the Korean version (I had the same with SNSD, only I ended up liking the Japanese ones better) that the Japanese version sounds so strange with all these random words put in. It just doesn't flow.

I really hope they get to have a blast promoting in Japan! I can't wait until they start releasing original Japanese content though, I don't need all these remakes.

Also wondering how good their Japanese is, besides the J-trinity of course.

i've seen people say that out of the non-japanese members jihyo has the best pronunciation. speaking wise tho idk lol, i'm curious too. i know trainees in a lot of companies get lessons in foreign languages. it'd be nice to see them all be able to speak japanese semi-fluently! i don't really love when groups plan to promote outside of korea but only memorise lyrics in another language and can't speak that well...

the jp versions of these songs are alright but the lyrics sound too "crowded" to me. i feel like many jp versions of kpop songs are like this, too many syllables trying to be squished into each line. i'm looking forward to hear original japanese songs from them in the future though.

ALSO chaeyoung's hair in this performance is not good lol. she looks pretty with long hair too but not styled like this.

As for Music Station. It is a pretty big deal for Kpop Artists to perform there. It took TVXQ 4 years (Changmin said this on their first appereance in MS as a duo) to perform over there, as they didn't let any Korean artist (except BoA, but she was already big over there). After TVXQ, Music Station were a bit more open to have Korean artists to perform.
