he debuted in a group called 1punch in jan 2015 with samuel kim (of seventeen tv & produce101 fame) but left the group soon after appearing on SMTM 4 bc YG wanted him. not been in the basement for too long for yg standards.. less than 2 years? he was on SMTM 5 last year tho
