I like the song, but the MV but the combination of cheesiness and bad CG are cringey. The dancing was also a no-no for me this time around. And lmao, he incinerated her.
I heard some of the audio earlier and I made up my mind that I wouldn't like it. But having listened again, I changed my mind. Putting on headphones made all the difference. I need the instrumental.
I need to see the choreo in its' entirety, I was really focused on it. And while the CGI could be a bit much, I was far too preoccupied with the overall look to care. It didn't bother me much.
Feels like part 2 of Sayonara Hitori which was so so for me song-wise, though this one's a bit better because it doesn't have a sudden beat change. If Japan likes this then by all means get that ¥¥¥, just give me another bop in Korea next time.

Some of the shots of the mv had me laughing at the awkwardness and or chesseness of it however I like the song and I hope they have a dance version of the mv. It is a lot slower than i expected but I like it. Although I am hoping the full album has a drip drop 2.0.
The girl was super awkward no chemistry between them at all. But this looks like the same girl from one the of videos from the lastest concert where it flashes from the two kids in school to SHINee members with women do you know what I am talking about. Taemin is the only one with a white girl and that seems to be a trend in these concert videos and now mvs. I wonder why? And the same girl as well...hmm...curious. Get that lovi'n Tae. I support it.

well, in shinee early years when they were first asked about ideal type ... and they gave real women names (times when jjong openly mentioned shin se kyung) taemin + key were the only members mentioning white western actresses

True I remember Tae was obsessed with Emma Watson for a time. But a lot of people in Asia have a being fetish for blonde haired paled skin girls and boys so it doesn't surprise me (at least here in mainland China that is true)
Actually this doesnt seemed to apply to Taem only. Japanese directors somehow loves to cast white girls in their MVs. I really dont think Taem got any say in his concepts in Japan. Big artists usually leave their recording labela to gain more creative independence. So for someone new like Taem, they probably control like 100% of his solo releases.

I feel bad that 50% of the YT comments are about Random Caucasian Casting in k/jpop when Taemin works so hard for his solo stuff. TBH I wouldn't cast someone who might pull focus from Taemin or engender "fan hate" for the skinship, so she's good enough for the role. Really love the flaming phoenix wings and the song itself; I do wish it wasn't so similar to Sayonara Hitori, but maybe it will have a whole different feel when performed live without the CG.
the white girls in kpop mvs make me laugh though not because there's something necessarily wrong with them but they all look the same. you can tell they find one kind of woman pretty (and funnily eough i don't think they are that charming to white ppl) so it's the same girl in every mv, it's hilarious
The song does nothing to me. The mv is meh as well, but those special effects were nice to look at. Judging from the comments you'd think the girl is the main character, but lol she shows up for like 5 seconds, yet...
