Synopsis
Yoo Hyun-Jae (Yoon Si-Yoon) is a member of a popular idol group. He has a lot of fans and he is a scandal maker. Meanwhile, Lee Ji-Hoon (Kim Min-Jae) is an aspiring singer. He pretends to be studying for his civil servant exam, but he is actually struggling to become an idol.

Who called it that Hyunjae was probably Jihoon's father? How good does it feel to be right?

I.....I'm not so convinced yet. The way that Hyunjae reacted after Gwangjae after saying there was a relationship with Bohee and Hyunjae left her, makes me go with my initial feeling that Bohee liked Hyunjae more than the other way around. Meaning there was never really a relationship. Hyunjae also looked put out when they showed a flashback where Bohee kissed him. It could just be Hyunjae being weird, but.....idk.

The "obvious" lovelines aren't going the way I expected? Wooseung seems to have liked that Jihoon kissed her on the cheek. Which.....Idk why that was ever supposed to be a mystery. The audience already knows that he likes her. But Hyunjae's nice behavior toward her in episode 12 could also be the start of something blossoming. Idk.

MJ is a little shit. There. I said it. What a dork. Lol.
Why would MC Drill look himself up. He's a trainee...and if he hasn't gotten any exposure, why would anyone know about him? Seems like a sure way to make yourself feel terrible. I hope he avoids doing that from now on.

icb i'm right about the hyunjae + jihoon thing well, for now. i also got that vibe that maybe it's toooo obvious—ofc, after it's been revealed—but if him and bohee were dating for a year in '94, and hyunjae disappeared from their old reality in '93, they could've just not started dating yet. i was wondering what the timeline was for that party (?) scene with bohee and hyunjae, too

i'm not totally considering jihoon and hyeri a loveline but i think they're cute together, tbh. all the lovelines in this are really partial, imo, and i'm not totally for anyone's, yet. playing up hyunjae and wooseung, for comedic effect, is fine but i dunno how i feel about her and jihoon yet since there's those two semi-conflicting lines :s

(sidebar: i don't know how i feel abt wooseung yet, i feel like her development so far is... just okay, and that she's getting left behind with all the familial plots)

Hyunjae as Jihoon's father was revealed in episode 1 so it wasn't really a big surprise. I am enjoying this so far even if the story seems slow for some characters.

Yeah ending scene of episode 1 (technically episode 2). After Hyunjae fell from the stairs and almost got hit by the car, Jihoon's voiceover said that's his first meeting with his father.

That was one of the funniest ending scenes I've ever seen. It was super predictable, but Hyun Jae crashing through the ceiling had me dying.

I knew he was his dad, but like everyone else now I'm questioning it? Like to have Ji Hoon exist, when he gets back to his time he'll have to purposefully pursue Bo Hee for that reason and that just feels icky to me. But they were kind of saying he might not be the dad? Was Bo Hee lying or did Gwang Jae just assume he was the dad? Who else would it be? Other J2 CEO guy? And that's the reason he's creepy obsessed with her? IDK. I still have SO MANY QUESTIONS about this weird family unit.

I need Ji Hoon and Woo Seung as endgame, they're just too cute. Ji Hoon was cute googling how to get a female friend to like you haha. It's apparent he's super into her, so I don't buy the potential romance between him and the trainee girl--he's not looking twice at her in a romantic way. Obviously Hyun Jae and Woo Seung have been getting a big amount of screentime together, but I hope they don't go in that direction, especially with how girl was checking out Ji Hoon's lips. The shirt fakeout attempt with Drill wearing it for like 5 seconds was funny.

With Woo Seung revealed to be a composer, I'm fingers-and-toes-crossed hoping that we'll get the kids coming together and making their own group and performing? I'm such a sucker for the Dream High/Monstar/What's Up-esque groups performing together, so I'm really hoping that's the direction we're going.

I love this show. Hyun jae being pushed down the stairs many times was hilarious, poor him. And the ending lmao... what a way to make an entrance

Also who are Malsook's parents? I'm still confused by that since the family picture that was taken earlier on, I thought it'd be announced by now but i don't this it was? That girl is too cute

we don't know her parents but i think her parents aren't involved in all the drama (and that's why they haven't been revealed yet) but... i think... she's related to the grandpa-figure, soontae

I'd be wondering about Malsook, too. I don't think I've ever heard her call Gwangjae "appa", but it's possible that he could be her uncle if Soontae and Gwangjae are father and son.

This weird family unit has been driving me bonkers, I just want everything explained out so I can stop being confused by it! I went searching for a relationship chart and it looks like she's probably the CEO grandpa's granddaughter? And they aren't related to anyone else.
