Well I do admit Knk are probably the greatest fan service group I just can't believe this because Youjin is the only member of the group that despises fan service. They must have gotten a lot of money for this.

Okay so I don't really follow boy groups so I have questions.

- Who is this for?
- Do fans actually ship or project that kind of shit into their idols? I don't see anything wrong with boylove but the pocky, and the linked arms while they drank juice... it comes off like tease porn.
- is this actually effective in drawing more eyes( or ears) to the groups?

This is more of a comedy channel, a lot of the captions and voiceover in the video make ti clear this is the type of shameless, over-the-top fanservice people make fun of idols for. A lot of these kinds of fanservice games and what not like the pepero game and paper kiss game are intended as teases for fans, for groups of both genders. In KNK's case, it's playing around with fans because Youjin (guy receiving the pocky) HATES being touchy/doing aegyo with his group mates while Seungjun (other guy) LOVES it so putting the two polar opposites together makes it funnier.

And for your last part, it varies but I have seen people get into groups because of stuff like this.Hell Mamamoo got a lot of attention for their boob-grabbing etc antics when first starting out and I remember Heechul making out with pretty much every member of SuJu in their heyday.Fans eat it up 90% of the time

idols doing stuff like this is 99% of the time done for their straight fans, male idols especially. a LOT of fans do get super into shipping idols (tvxq and exo fans during their heydays were probably some of the worst/creepiest instances) so a lot of companies definitely seem to fan that flame to keep fans happy.

even ignoring ships its just geared at straight girls who like seeing hot guys rubbing themselves over each other imo. from what I've seen it can be pretty effective in drawing people in.
