Because I am an Idiot, last weekend, instead of trying to catch up on the million dramas I am behind on right now, I decided to marathon Skam. I watched all the eps in two days and now I'm living in despair. I purposefully ignored it until now because I know myself and my propensity to get totally sucked into whatever I'm watching/reading and I was right. I spent half my week refreshing Tumblr--Yousef, why did it take so long for you to answer her??? RIP my productivity until after this show is done next week.

My best friend makes me a kpop/drama calendar every year for Christmas and June is my favorite month because it's my birthday month and she always makes a special Kang Ha Neul page for me lol. It's a lovely thing to have on my wall all of June.

i've heard a lot of good things abt mtv's (i know) sweet / vicious but it's in limbo, rn: mtv canceled it so now there's a campaign to get it streaming or something. 3% (3 percento) is apparently also really good but it's brazilian so it's in portuguese. the handmaid's tale definitely has lesbians but i rlly can't say anything about them ending tragically, since imo they do (dystopia blah blah)

i'm really bad with tv, lol. i wish this was a longer list... there's a show i'm thinking of but it's just evading me. if i think of it i'll def edit it in, tho!

How much does a good haircut cost where you guys live? Back in my hometown I can get a decent trim/layering haircut for $20-25 but where I currently am, it seems like the average cost is around $55 for a haircut alone. I won't be back home for a while so I wonder whether to just put up with my long hair for the summer.

Also what's a nice way to grow out dyed hair without it looking like a chunky mess? I'm trying to avoid dying my hair again cause I haven't been taking care of it well, but now there's an obvious line where the color changes across the back of my head lol

hi omona! im so excited for todays broduce final, i hope i get off work earlier again like last week so i can watch it from the start.

internship is still fun but its getting more and more difficult to find topics to cover. im planning to interview a cover dance group next week and a local blogger, and im working on a report about a language school, but its so hard to come up with new ideas every day. i like doing radio stuff because im better at cutting audio reports than actual films lol. i would be a horrible youtuber because adobe premier is so complicated to use.
anyone got ideas for me? i thought about asking people on the streets about trump and his travel ban, and if they think angie should do the same, but political topics are a bit dangerous.

how do you all like lorde's new album? i personally love it. i even started to tear up when listening to writer in the dark. it's really cohesive and there are no bad songs imo. i can't even choose a favourite rn.

i got my native language exam results yesterday and it went well especially considering that i was sick during the exam. i will get my english and mathematics exam results this week/at the beginning of next week and i hope i didn't screw them up (especially maths).

Ugh i hate the weather we're having, it's so random. It rains all the time but it's still hot af and sooo humid. It's so weird for where i'm from.

I just got back from my last class before exams start, i'll be sitting my first one next Friday, getting nervous!

On a lighter note, i finally saw Wonder Woman and i LOVED IT! I cannot wait for Justice League to see Diana again!
Also, all my friends are trying to get me to start playing MMO's again, (since we're all gonna be done with exams pretty much at the same time) and i know it's ridiculous, but my ancient ass feels like i forgot everything and i'm gonna suck so much, lmao!

Feel you about the weather. We've been having and average of 29C° weather which is way too hot for me, and then it rains at the most random times. Even my dogs can't stand being indoors so I have to constantly be opening and closing doors for them at random hours.

Can't wait to see Wonder Woman; been putting it off since my mom wants to go watch it together, but if she can't this week, then I'll go alone.

i haven't been too caught up w broduce, like i watch clips when i can and see the perfs but i'm not rlly on my broduce game what can i say. that being said im actually anxious about my fav (jisung) not getting in lol. he ranked in the top 11 last time, but now i feel like fans are gonna go crazy w voting so the entire ranking is gonna shift in some way. if he places at 12 im gonna scream.

one of my all time fav groups disbanded this week. their final concert was livestreamed and it was so so so amazing, it felt like i was there and they were honestly on their A game. i completely broke down and sobbed towards the end though. i was a fan of c-ute for 8 years, since i was a kid. i genuinely looked up to them as a child, and wanted to be like them. to see them gone now hurts, but i'm so happy and proud of everything they have done. one of the girls, mai, has literally been an idol since she was around 6 years old. being an idol is her earliest memory; so i'm glad that now after 12 years she can finally genuinely be free and be who she wants with no restraints.

I had no idea it was Friday until an hour or two ago. This has been a friggin week, man. We had to get out house ready to show/sell and there's nothing like cleaning your entire house in 48 hours to make you want to never ever move again. But it looks like we may have sold our house to the first/only person we showed it to before it even went officially up for sale which would be fucking amazing. Like fingers crossed, the paperwork hasn't been signed yet but our realtor said they accepted our counter offer. Update: The house is sold!!!!!!

The house we're moving to has a great big sunny backyard with absolutely nothing in it but grass so I need to start my garden planning now. It's a daunting task but I'm starting to look forward to it. I want to put in a pond. I'm hoping for frogs. I think I'm gonna do some researching today and start putting together plant lists. I'm so sad to leave my current yard. I really don't spend money on much, but I have poured literally hundreds of dollars into this yard over the years. But the new one is bigger and way sunnier so I'll be able to do a lot of things there I wasn't able to do here, like have a genuine prairie. It'll still probably be 2 or 3 years before it's up to speed with my current one though. I'll miss my bees.

Morning Omona! I was supposed to get up early so I could get brunch with my friend but we're both procrastinating so I'm guessing we're getting lunch lol. I'm here in New York and my poor feets are killing me.

I also am reading this book called The Power by Naomi Alderman and it's pretty great. I think it's scarily accurate to how the world would go if men suddenly were at a disadvantage.

I'm using it though unsure of the effects since I also froze off a bunch of spots recently which DID work for a lot of the spots but I suspect it also gave me a couple of new ones but out of the ones that have been removed I'm not 100% on whether they were all frozen off or not :X

we've been stressed all week bc my dog got severe pancreatitis and has been at the vet since monday. some acquaintances were nice enough to try and help us pay, but my brother ended up having to cover the cost. we haven't even gotten her out yet cause they're so incompetent.
she's well enough to go home, but they keep dicking around and that just adds more money to an already expensive bill. i want my dog back. :(

after a bit of jetsetting again (cause i obviously cannot sit in one place even when dead tired and/or broke), i'm viewing flats/rooms all week... moving the 3rd time this year, i'm done already, and it's just starting.

i'm reunited with my bike now, and so gonna get in an accident. after amsterdam, nothing in the world is safe enough for me. just thinking about having to wear a helmet makes me sad, also not being able to bike in every street in every direction basically... so many first world problems. why do people drive so much?!

been a weird week as i was staying with family fifteen minutes from the grenfell tower fire and had an exam on the same road the morning after. i'm also a londoner who grew up in council housing so it's been a very upsetting and anger-filled time, not to mention my family is very much a part of the community and knew people there. hope it sees may and her disgusting government out.

in other news, my tl is in uproar over produce 101. one question: i've never followed nuest myself, but have heard many awful things about them, but many people seem to be their fan regardless and take the rumours as slander or smth? idk, i'm a bit confused about why people like them as people if what i've heard is true.

anyway, my exams are done so i'm very excited to relax.

The only bad thing I've heard about Nu'est that has any proof is to do with Aron (who's not on the show), afaik all the other cases are "someone overheard this" or "apparently this one member did this". I guess combined with how they've come across on the show, it's easier to take it as slander rather than a certainty (I want to believe they're good folk lol).

I know what it's like to be such a shirt distance from a tragedy like the fire, so my heart goes out to you and yours <3. The fact that this happened is a disgrace, and as someone who also grew up in council housing, it's sad that the absolute disgraceful lack of care by the government/landlord isn't shocking to me. The fact that people are trying to attack Corbyn/Labour in this mess and not the Conservatives in power is really something else.
