YG releases update on TOP's ongoing treatment; court date set for first hearing

A YG Entertainment representative updated the press on TOP's health condition. The representative stated, “T.O.P is receiving his treatment well. The medical team of the hospital is predicting that he will need to continue receiving treatment for another two weeks,” indicating that T.O.P’s condition has been steadily improving. They are not releasing the name of the hospital or the type of treatment he is receiving.

The first trial date for his drug charge has also recently been set. The first court date will be June 29th in Seoul District Court.

I hope he is able to get better and the treatment he needs before he has to go to trial. May he eat his fancy food in peace and quiet.

I'm so glad that I didn't see that. This whole situation is so sad to me. TOP seems like a good person, weird, but essentially good. I hate to see anyone in this situation, but when it's someone you genuinely enjoy and love(in a fandom way) it's so hard.

I hope he overcomes this. He's so talented and creative.

Now that that's out of the way...
The only reason I even saw the photos is because it appeared on my Twitter timeline. I follow a Korean News Update user, and I guess they thought it was a good enough story to post pictures from. I never scrolled through my timeline so quickly. I know celebrities are these photographers' bread and butter, but I DON'T wanna see a celeb suffering or in mourning. I don't like that shit. It's so uncomfortable. Seeing him in that wheelchair, getting into the ambulance, it was too much. One instance where the paparazzi are just wrong for doing that. Anyway, I just hope T.O.P is getting the care he needs. He's gonna need the strength for that damn court date.

That would make sense considering the circumstances of his admission. I just hope he's able to recover in peace and that he's getting the treatment he needs.

At least here in the US, when you're even suspected of an sort of self harm (which this would be classified under) you are held inpatient by doctors for at least three days. You or your family can not check you out under any circumstances. It would make sense since he just recently came to that he would be held impatient for at least that long if not longer, especially since he requested help before this happens.
