SS501 member Jungmin’s revelation that his online store has zero visitors is now a hot topic.
Jungmin had attended the recording of the December 2nd episode of MBC Golden Fishery’s [Radio Star], and leader Hyunjoong had expressed: “Park Jungmin is now operating an online store but the number of visits to the site is still zero. Only when I open the page, then will the count rise to 1. Everyone please help him out.”
Most online stores operated by Korean artistes usually have very high visitor traffic, so the fact that Jungmin’s store indeed had zero visitors despite him being a member of the popular group SS501, came as a shock to everyone present.
After a question by the hosts asking why Jungmin did not use SS501’s popularity as a marketing strategy, he replied: “I don’t really know the importance of the market, but my friends are helping me out right now. The clothes in my store are really nice, but somehow they just can’t be sold out.”
Jungmin also revealed that his ideal type was Go Soyoung, and wished her to “have a happy life” via the programme. After yesterday’s episode, all major search sites have had search results for “Park Jungmin’s online store” rise up massively.
On the same episode, fellow SS501 member Hyungjoon also revealed his secret to pleasing fangirls from different countries.
Hyungjoon explained that every time he received an interview overseas, he’d definitely pick the most popular local female artiste as his “ideal type”, and state that he would want to marry a girl from that country.
Jungmin also proved Hyungjoon correct, when he exposed that Hyungjoon’s “ideal type” was always changing. When they were in Taiwan, his type was Jolin Tsai, but when they were in Japan, Hyungjoon would say he liked girls that were similar to Ueto Aya ; and whenever they were back in Korea, his ideal type would change to BoA once more.
Apart from all of that, Hyungjoon also told of how when he was hosting a late night radio show in the past, he invited his friend and his dog as guests simply because there were no listeners and no pay for him to collect after his job was done.
