Today was SISTAR's final stage as a group. For their special stage they performed Shake It, I Swear and Touch my Body again. As of June 4th, SISTAR has now officially disbanded.

SISTAR personally bids farewell to all STAR1s that attend the last pre-recording (Show Champion).

i can't believe we are saying goodbye to this beautiful group, so many good memories i have of them and i adored them for years (i think sistar was one of the first groups i actually even knew bc of a drama and later on one of the first groups i started following) ;-;

at least they finished up really well and showed amazing stages the past 4 days, i wish they so well for all their future individual activities and will continue to support them <3 #THANKYOUSISTAR

They debuted on June 4th 2010 and disbanded on June 4th 2017, Starship PLANNED this.

It seems so anticlimactic for a group as prominent as Sistar to just go out with a "regular" goodbye stage.

It might be normal, though. I just feel like they should have gotten more.

i will miss them 💔.... but at the same time its a relief we wont see them falling from grace, going mia or losing members like keeps happening to most girlgroups

Toxic masculinity tells me I'm not allowed to cry but I shed tears freely and openly during their last performance of lonely. I'll never forget sistar and everything those queens meant. Thank you for showing that a little group from a small label can succeed surely above expectation.

True. I wish Kpop groups would be more like Swedish House Mafia and announce their disbandment before the final release, but release an absolute BOP and go on a goodbye tour. Instead they just go out, even though management knows WAY beforehand that their acts won't resign.

I'm so sad, lol. I never thought that their disband would hurt me like this, I'm really sad (I was just a little bit sad about Miss A and WG disbanding, mostly because I saw it coming). Maybe it is because I never thought they would really disband. I mean, they are still doing fine in the charts and they get along well; plus, they manage to do some solo stuff.

Too many old girlgroups are gone now I don't have almost any fave left now. Who am I going to stan now? Mamamoo is not enough, I can't trust in YG about blackpink, and I don't like that much the rest of the new girlgroups even if I like some of their songs, sigh.

Question: Did they renew their contract with their company as solo artists? Or are them going into separates paths?

I was always more a casual Sistar fan, but I followed them since they were one of the first groups I started to like when I got into Kpop (around mid 2009). That Lonely stage almost made me shed some tears and those Twitter videos were so sad; Soyou look like she was holding up heavy tears.

Still, I feel happy for their fans because they at least got a clear goodbye to the group (I wish the other 2nd gen groups that I'm a fan of and have disbanded already would have gotten at least the same).

I haven't been watching the Lonely stages cause I'll just cry, even the summer medleys had me all up in the feels especially the ending moments of TMB. A lot of their songs are still high on my most-played list and I'm not even bored of them yet, I don't see them falling any time soon. Looking forward to their new journeys! #thankyousistar
