Teasers and Synopsis for "The Best Hit"

Yoon Shi-yoon’s character Yoo Hyun-jae is described as a musical genius gifted with songwriting, dancing, and singing skills that put him at the top of the idol game when he debuted back in 1993. However, his life gets turned upside down when he is presumably propelled into the future, and he’s reduced to nothing but the neighborhood bum. The drama is about him mixing it up with other youths in present-day Seoul, which should make for some great laugh-out-loud scenarios since some of them will be in the idol industry, and he’s basically a grandfather in idol age and perspective.

Yoon Shi-yoon and Lee Se-young are engaged in one leg of a really, really awkward love triangle (square? Pentagon?) across two generations between Kim Min-jae, his mom Yoon Son-ha and dad Cha Tae-hyun.

The Best Hit premieres Friday, June 2 on KBS.

I thought I knew the general synopsis of this drama, but the details and previews are throwing me for a loop. I love Yoon Shi Yoon though, so I'll probably check it out. The top video is pretty incredible.

lol somehow I feel excited for this.

1) YSY looks sooo good with that haircut.
2) The first video -- my goodness it is sooo 90's and sound horrible too. XD Kinda remind me of Jang Nara's Another Happy Ending MV. It also remind me of Huge Grant's Pop! Goes My Heart MV that he did for Music & Lyric movie. It is such a good song (lol).

I love Music & Lyrics too! Hugh Grant is a King of romantic comedies. None other actor come close to his flawlessness in that genre even until today.

What surprise me the most about the movie is how good he is at singing lol. I would never expect that tbh. All his songs in the movie is soooo good that I ended up buying the OST. :P
