Reports broke earlier tonight that Kai and Krystal have broken up after a year or so of dating due to busy schedules. And now, SM has confirmed it.

Can't say I'm surprised... they're both always out of the country at different times -- or the same time, but different countries. And Kai in particular was super busy earlier this year with filming two dramas back to back, moving to Japan temporarily for one, and EXO's tour/schedules.

But let me aspire to get on his level of petty rq... revealing his post-breakup revenge body at Korea's biggest concert venue.

call me dramatic but i'm so sad right now :( they were supposed to make beautiful babies together i have such a soft spot for them. i've been loving them forever and tbh after the dispatch reveal, all the hate that blew up in their faces really left a bitter taste in my mouth. the antis are probably not sorry for the hate they spewed out and they're probably rejoicing over this news... i hope krystal is free from them now and they both can live life happily ;_;

I always wonder. The schedule must be hell and when they have free time they're probably too exhausted to do much with it but then you hear about some couples staying together for years so there must be a way to do it.

They can't all break up because of that though. I think it's just the safe 'no one's to blame' excuse that can be given without causing hate to either party, especially when they're from the same company. I always wonder if they actually break up at the time they say they do or if the company holds the info until it's most useful, like announcing it right before a comeback even if they broke up months ago. I've just seen too many announcements/rumours right before comebacks.

I remember reading about a month back an "insider" (somebody who knew somebody) who stated she had some juicy kaistal news, but she didn't want to say it on the forum because she didn't want it to leak out.
