“Produce 101 Season 2” contestant Kang Daniel’s agency recently warned netizens regarding malicious comments.

On May 31, MMO Entertainment posted a statement on their official site, saying, “According to observations made by the company as well as fans, we have confirmed the presence of malicious comments online [about Kang Daniel] that are filled with personal attacks and even come close to sexual harassment. We earnestly ask those who crossed the line with their malicious comments to refrain from doing so.”

The statement continued with the words, “If this issue continues, we will inevitably be taking strong measures without any chances for a settlement. We ask that you continue to love all of the trainees who are under MMO Entertainment.”

This is not the first time an agency has warned malicious commenters, as Brave Entertainment also released a statement regarding fellow contestant Samuel Kim.

I've read the most outrageous things antis say not just about Daniel, but many other members, like people being lowkey happy about Woojin's sickness because he can leave and one less obstacle for their fave. This competition is bringing the worst out of fans, at least the boys get along in the show, at least what they've shown.

I'm glad that Daniel and Samuel's companies are holding people responsible for this bs. They don't deserve this type of hatred.

Also OngNiel are definitely staying in the Top 11 thanks to the 2-Pick. I am thrilled. I'm still worried about Samuel though. I don't think he has someone for fans to pair him with for the vote. :(

omg the onslaught of ongniel today killed me. and i knew the hate comments were getting waaaaay out of hand for all the trainees, but i had no idea it was bordering on sexual harassment :-/ wish all the companies would do their best to protect their trainees

IDK if my emotions are more heighten because I am a mom, but watching this show makes me feel all kinds of things and I just want them ALL to be successful, happy and accomplish everything, I just cant stand seeing these children cry and suffer like their life is done because they didn't made it to the next round, I just want them to be actually happy and accomplish whatever they want in life. Like I literally don't care who wins if it was me I'd want all of them to win, even the Nu'est kids, they are working really hard :(

I sound like i am 400 years old but i am actually 31 lmao, I know there are people my age (At least on reddit) thirsting over these boys (smh many of them are underage/really young and could be your children, that's really gross), but I am actually all kind of maternal feels about this show.

I feel like season 1 the girls were a lot more composed and had more of a 'yass bitch wait for me imma get this shit done!!!'? idk how to explain lol...

can someone explain to me how the training works? obviously they don't stay at the english village the whole time the show in progress, so few times a week they train and film there?

Most of the trainees went out yesterday to take pictures with their billboards (like mnet gave them a free day to do it), so a lot of fans just waited at the stations for their respective fave trainees. You can find a lot more fan accounts for the other boys on twitter.

For training, they film a few days a week at the english village, then they practice at each other's companies for the rest of the week.
