Synopsis: A forgetful killer can be a dangerous thing. Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) is a prosecutor who changes jobs to become a private attorney at a powerful law firm. Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) is a prosecutor trainee who works with prosecutor Cha Yoo Jung (Nara), Ji Wook’s ex-girlfriend who desperately wants to win him back. Attorney Ji Eun Hyuk (Choi Tae Joon) is a longtime family friend of Ji Wook’s but harbors some resentment about their different family circumstances. When a murderer strikes, Bong Hee suddenly finds herself as a suspect in the murder.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I like this or not.

There's so much to like, particularly Chang Wook in glasses, that Bong Hee carries her Taekwondo-ID with her all the time, that she takes no shit from boys etc etc.
I also like how all the actors bring something extra to their roles. It's hard to put into words, but the characters feels real, although the plot is somewhat lacking (imo). The main pair are also cute together most of the time, and their backstory is somewhat intriguing.
I also like that Nara got a character that's not completely bad, her character isn't just one-dimensional like many other ex-girlfriends.

On the other hand, I don't like the way both Ji Wook and Bong Hee treats the other from time to time.
Bong Hee stalking Ji Wook is waaaay out of line, both of them using the other's blackout as a punishment and therefore not making clear if they did or did not sleep together.. which is WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, tbh..

There's also glaring plot holes, which I hope they production team will address sooner than later.

the blackout aspect is seriously messed up and i wish they would clear it out of the plot altogether. and although the stalking thing is ugly af, i'm glad they addressed it and called out Bong Hee through one of the episodes with the guy stalker. Overall I still like it as a show

im beginning to think nothing happened at all during the blackouts or the scriptwriter hasn't came up with anything yet and is dragging it out until they do lmao, but this whole playing coy~ thing needs to stop. Withholding information like that is more damaging than comedic

I want to like this drama, but I can't. JCW is one of my absolute favorite actors and I even watched The K2 and liked it despite its flaws.

... but there are just quite a few things, which I don't like e.g. the way they keep using each other's blackout.

Maybe it's just the script writer, b/c I also didn't like the romance between Jang Nara and Seo In Guk in Hello Monster.

At this point, I doubt I'll keep up with it instead just stick to recaps.

I'm trying to decide if I can like it enough to ignore all its faults, but I'm probably going to drop it if ep 9-12 doesn't clear at least the blackout parts up.

Yeah, I totally think this drama will be another cockroach in the ice cream (http://dramatic-gwynne.tumblr.com/post/155959663469/the-cockroach-in-the-ice-cream) -drama.
I can see both sides, and although I'm personally going to give it one more chance, I think it's totally fair that people throw it out based on the way it handles the controversial parts of the plot.

I don't get the hatred either. I strongly disliked the first two eps but then something clicked and I'm liking it and the chemistry between the leads quite a bit.

Thanks for the post, OP! I'm really digging this show now, which is strange because I did not like the first set of episodes at all and I was really bummed about it because I adore both leads. I put off watching the next two until my friend pestered me enough and then I loved it. The dynamics between characters are fun. Eun Hyuk is cute but I can't fully trust him because I keep expecting him to Missing Nine murder everyone. I also completely love the prosecutor assistant guy, I love whenever he shows up on screen.

I love them living together, cohabitation is one of my favorite drama tropes and I love that they just so naturally fell into it and he kept cooking her food. The killer being a CSI is terrifying because he's all up in the crime scenes and I hate that. All in all, I'm really enjoying it and I'm glad Ji Chang Wook finally gets to be in more of a romcom role.

I didnt liked the first few eps but once the murder case settled down a bit and our leads have more positive interactions I'm starting to really get into it, might even go into crack drama territory for me. I find it so endearing that Bonghee tries hard to not squeal whenever Jiwook did something swoony. And I think the whole stalker thing was handled pretty well, she relates her stalkish behavior with that psycho and realize on her accord how harmful it is and she should stop. Also how cute and dorky Ji Changwook is in this drama! At this point I'm only watching this for the couple cuz the main story is a bit ehh

I think the lead actors and their characters are great and I like watching them interact. But I'm currently watching episode eight and I don't think the writer(s) have the range to pull off a romantic-comedy-legal-drama-murder-mystery. It's kind of the same problem I'm having with Mystery Queen, I came for the serial killer with amnesia and any scene that's not like at least a little bit related to that is kinda boring. Plus I've been iffy on the romantic building between Bong Hee and Ji Wook ever since the episode where Bong Hee admits to stalking him. IMO, that's not a great foundation to build a cute ship on. Especially because she keeps on saying that she's stalking him. However the good parts of the show are very good, it's just a little frustrating.

I am enjoying this drama and it is one that I am looking forward to each week. I can see why some people are having a problem with the stalker vibe but unless there is something else I might be missing (or maybe as a kid I was a stalker). I remember liking a boy and driving around where he lived just to get a glimpse of him. I don't know when you like someone don't you want to look at them. Maybe she went over the line when she watched him sleep not sure, but she realized that she was close to being a stalker and held back and tried to stop herself. So maybe I am not getting something. Plus Ji Wook is watching her almost as much as she was watching him. Not sure what I am trying to say but I can see someone that likes another person looking at them, and sometimes going a different route just to get a glimpse of them. If the do more then that and follow them all over, and do strange things then yes I would agree they are a stalker.

The reason I like this drama is I think it is cute the way Ji Wook is looking out for her, and he seems like a nice guy that would look out for everybody. I also like them living together and the interactions they have.
