Date: 2017-05-25 01:21 pm (UTC)the second part is so far more intriguing than the first part and "smart world" and its citizens somehow remind me of the capitol in the hunger games.
the world building is fascinating and i really want to have a transparent phone now.
btw: i'd be interested in discussing lookout, if anyone else is. otherwise it'd be pointless to make a discussion post.

Date: 2017-05-25 04:52 pm (UTC)watched both eps already and whoa that was good. brilliant even. the 1st half of eps1 made me think that the drama is 'too weird'. then the 2nd part came in and everything made sense.
the 2nd eps is more enjoyable now that almost all(maybe not all) seems to click. somehow the plot can be a bit predictable but hey, i was sitting at the edge of my seat throughout the eps. looking forward for the next eps

Date: 2017-05-25 06:59 pm (UTC)it's pretty cool we get to see two time-lines and unlike in a lot of american shows or other drama's i've seen, instead of intertwining them (so switch scene by scene with timelines) they purposely begin with one and stay with it for half of the episode and than after +/- 30 min we switch to the other timeline, i think that's pretty interesting!
i'm not sure which timeline/story i like more, bc in episode 2 i wanted more of BOTH; the whole alien thing is really interesting and i love the slight detective-vibe (more like the kid is trying to find out wtf is going on haha but still) and in the future timeline, i find it very interesting how this society works and how this supposed chip works in the brain and how come now all of the sudden it's collapsing with the murderer??
anyways def cool show and will keep watching it for sure!

Date: 2017-05-25 10:40 pm (UTC)I was looking forward to Circle and the first 2 episodes were solid, i like how they already answered some of the questions most of us would have, instead of dragging everything. Which makes me think they have other stuff in store for us!
Damn those transparent phones tho, now i want one!
Also, i want to watch Lookout as well, but the length of k-drama episodes and the fact we get 2 of them per week makes it so hard :(

Date: 2017-05-25 11:59 pm (UTC)It definitely draws some inspiration from The Hunger Games because Gikwang's character called himself a Peacekeeper. So it's almost like the same Dystopian world Katniss lives in, but set in Korea. I'm confused, is the guy we see in 2037 and older version of the twin in 2017 since it's obvious the other twin is the Chairman?
I'd like one of those Smart Chip (?) things that'll calm me down when my anxiety starts going off the charts. Could be really freakin' useful.
