I'm pure speculating here, but i think YG doesn't have trainee debt so the artist get money as soon as they debut and well, winner debut did really well, their comeback wasn't the same but Taehyun also composed the tracks so that probably made him some more money + they toured a lot in Japan during their break (and tours are already a money making thing + Japan is where the money really is so.....). I think he got enough to be ok for a while??????
edit: i found the full version, so it's been already released?? anyway, listened to it and other south club stuff and OMG so goooood, never expected grunge sound from k-music, i'm a stan for life now
he released it on his soundcloud during his WINNER m.i.a period before he scrap them all off from the account along with my most fave song that I don't rmb the name anymore /sad
This sounds GORGEOUS. I've missed him so much. I think the reason why Winner's recent comeback didn't appeal to me as much as their previous releases is because of the lack of his distinctive voice.
so he's part of a band right? because this teaser threw me off since his name was shown and we only see him. is het the face of the band? or is he releasing solo music but with a band as a permanent backing feature? all these questions. i'm excited to see where this goes though!
Probably using his name to get the band name out there I mean, his name still does to a degree brings the crowd (good and bad) in so yeah? The band needs a push to get their name out there he probs will be doing that for awhile.
Anyways, he pretty much does everything on his own without the backing of a company so yeah that happens
