I love Bifesta's Cleansing Lotion. It's water based, it's affordable, and it gets the job done w/o mess or having to rinse it off. I use it in my makeup gigs all the time for prepping and look changes. I also have the Bioré Cleansing Oil, which I use for the rare times that I put on waterproof mascara, or really stubborn matte liquid lipsticks.

I thought the same thing at first but after a while noticed my skin looked overall calmer. It's not the kind of product that will produce drastic changes, but at least for me it did something at least...

I tried their niacinimide and hyaluronic acid but didn't like either. I just bought the caffeine eye serum and serum foundation but at first pass I don't like the foundation (even tho everyone else does!).

It's interesting that even tho I haven't liked what I tried the brand is still so hyped up and CHEAP that I don't mind trying other things from their line. And I still don't feel any bad feelings toward the brand yet lol

But anyway just be careful, a lot of their products are castor oil based which is why I didn't like one of the ones I had tried, it was too thick and made me oily

I like their stuff. I haven't had a product that drastically changed my skin, but I think their products are good "team players" in that they assist with your routine as a whole but aren't the star player (sorry, that's a really bad sports analogy)

im trying out the niacinamide+zinc and buffet.

niacinamide+zinc dried up these pesky clogs overnight and turned them into whiteheads. they were gone by the third day. the texture isn't great though, sticky and filmy and pills when i layer other products on top. if you're looking for other effects (anti-aging, improve skin texture/tone) the paula's choice one is way better. albeit at a much higher price tag.

buffet just seems like a regular hydrating serum to me. a bit sticky but bearable and doesn't pill. but it's too soon to tell the effects of peptides.

they have great products and their ingredients are good and non-irritating but the packaging is a flop and the qualitity is nothing compared to higher end brands like paulas choice.

i didnt notice any difference when i used the niacinamide but the hyaluronic one is great, im on my second bottle now.

When Justin Bieber started playing I got stressed

Yesss fruit! She even had my faves, grapes and pineapples.

I used to use Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel but I switched to Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild. It doesn't make my skin feel dry or tight afterward like the Boscia did.

have you tried the muji cleansing oil for sensitive skin? that one's really great. less drying and even cheaper than dhc for a huge ass bottle

make sure its the one with kanji 敏感肌用. the other one マイルドオイルクレンジング has a much thinner texture and is more drying!

i love cleansing oil for my makeup days. i use the body shop or the face shop cleansing oil which cleanse well but they both sting my eyes really bad. i will try innisfree next (except there's so many range to choose from)

my fave eye+lip makeup remover is a'pieu's mineral lip and eye remover with the rose scent. it's so cheap and gets the job done well. it even removes quite a bit of the heroine make super waterproof mascara. people who are allergic/sensitive to plant extracts should avoid it though bc its filled with them.

for oil cleansing i just use the face shop's rice water bright whatever rich oil. i feel like the light version doesn't really rinse off properly, so i went back to the rich version and i've been through so many bottles until now. there's probably better options out there but i'm too cheap to try them.

I use Banila Co Clean it Zero for melting away makeup and my Paula's choice cleanser to wash the residue off.The Banila lasts me forever and I have yet to find a product it can't take off.

When I wear make up I first use cleansing water to remove it. For no make up days I use balm cleanser followed by foaming cleanser at night and just foaming cleanser in the morning. Products I like include:

Water: Bioderma Sensibio (regular) or Sebium (for oily skin), The Saem Tea Tree Cleansing Water. I want to try Dr. Jart Micro Water next after The Saem runs out
Balm: Banila Co Clean It Zero regular (I also already bought the Resveratrol version for oily skin to try next), Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (expensive but lasts forever, also it's scentless which is good for people who are sensitive/allergic)
Foaming: I like stuff that comes out as a foam straight from the pump like Clinique Acne Solutions Foam, The Body Shop Tea Tree Foaming Wash (though I could live without the cooling menthol effect)

I use the Garnier SkinActive Oil-Infused Micellar Water to remove my makeup. It's amazing and because it's oil-infused it does not leave my skin dry like after their Micellar Cleansing Water and I can also use it for lips and eyes. I don't use waterproof mascara or matte lipsticks or lip stains so I don't know how it works on those. I also have Nature Republic Forest Garden Chamomile Cleansing Oil. I bought it on a whim to use it as a makeup remover and because I wanted to try out a cleansing oil. It's good for removing makeup but I feel like I have to insist on the eyes sometimes depending on how much mascara and eyeliner I use. I'm planning on ordering The Face Shop Rice Water blablabla when I'm done with it.

I don't like cleansing oil bc I don't like to rub my face hard lol. I use Atrue cleansing water (a miracle, I am on my 5th bottle) with a cotton pad, then Glossier cleanser (on like my 6th bottle). These are my cleansing duo, I am never switching to anything else.

i used to use perfect whip, it's lovely :)
for my first step of cleansing i prefer solid balms. i'm currently trying out different products (heimish, erborian), but find myself coming back to the one from su:m 37, it's the softest and most luxurious of them all. i'm struggling with deciding whether to use it in the morning as well or not, though. i don't really get the "but i'm clean!" argument since the idea of double cleansing isn't really about removing makeup/sunscreen but all oil-based impurities which happen to include makeup/sunscreen.

perfect whip is the worst...unless they reformulated the line. i tried it a long time ago, like 2010, it was one of the driest cleansing foams i've ever used in my life

my skin and eyes are pretty sensitive so i stick with fragrance-free products (which means no to 90% of korean skincare) - currently using fancl cleansing oil + derizum cleansing foam at night and cosmetex roland cleansing gel in the morning.

i also have a bottle of koh gen do cleansing water hanging around. i have no idea why i bought it because i hate cleansing waters lol. well, not cleansing waters per se - but the process of using 100 cotton pads to remove makeup and side effects of microexfoliation which further sensitizes my skin

oh, and my fave eye makeup removers are the biphase ones by bifesta and kanebo. the heroine make mascara remover is also pretty great for travel, although i have to be careful not to get any into my eye

i would also rec muji's cleansing oil for sensitive skin, so cheap and effective!

I got my dad to hoard on Perfect Whip Foam Cleansers on a trip to Japan a couple of years back. He got 10 bottles, I think. I've been using them ever since and it's been working fine for my dry to combination skin. A bit tedious to whip it up though. Maybe when I finally use it all up, I'll try the Speedy Whip version to make my life easier.

She's so cute :) And her skin is amazing ♥

I love the two-step cleansing method! I use a mix of jojoba oil and apricot kernel oil, finishing with the Paula's Choice Earth Sourced Cleansing Gel.
