Synopsis: In 1986, Detective Park Kwang Ho desperately tries to catch a serial killer. He chases after the serial killer and goes through a tunnel. On the other side of the tunnel, Detective Park Kwang Ho finds himself in the year 2017. The serial killer has resumed the killings that began 30 years ago. Kwang Ho works with Detective Kim Sun Jae and Professor of Criminal Psychology Shin Jae-Yi to catch the killer.

No they didn't catch him in the past, only in the future. So everything should shake out like normally, minus Yeonho getting a happy childhood instead.

just finished watching, the cast is very talented, they portrayed the characters well.

my favorite part was when the went to the victims' families to tell them they got the killer and giving them the closure they need, I really cried.

also cried with SunJae, I wanted him to stay with his daughter, but at least she'll have a happy childhood now

To me was perfect! The point of the whole travel in time was to catch the murderer, he couldn't travel back and avoid the deaths that happened already, but he could protect the future. I mean, was never intended, was a random event and he used the best way he could, he didn't have control over it, but was never fair for him to pay for the whole issue, making his family unhappy and I think the writer did good, he fixed his family situation, he solved the case, and sunjae was around to grow up and be part of his daughter life like we were rooting for. It's a happy ending for me, plus I was glad to see how N got the same name as the cop, and that was cool.

If was different from that wouldn't make sense tbh, this drama to me was flawless, everybody was well used, the characters were well build, even the detective macho approach at the first episodes was well done, cause things were that way around that time and changed a bit but still happens, but he changed I mean, he became really cool. The bromance was super cute and professor Shin I didn't like her at the begin but at the end she was adorable and had the cutest smile ever talking about her father. I am gonna miss them a lot T_T

So far the best drama I saw this year and gonna be hard to find one to top it for me!

I was satisfied with the ending because then I could make up my own thoughts on what happens in the future. I know they didn't give us satisfaction of catching the killer in the past, but I like to believe Kwang Ho found the murder journal and somehow caught him. Little kid Sun Jae was ADORABLE and the frizzy haired baby was so cute! I love that Sun Jae was like part of their family.

My sister is visiting and decided to watch the last two episodes with me. She hadn't seen any of the other episodes but got really invested and was crying hard at the scene where Sun Jae told his dad they found his mom's killer haha. The whole scene with telling the families was so well done and emotional. When he told him he killed his mom because she smiled at a guy on the bus? Wtf.

I was screaming at some of the stupid stuff they did these two eps, but I'm glad they actually had backup for Jae Yi when evil doctor was strangling her the second time. Sun Jae and Kwang Ho's relationship was so great to me (I kept yelling at them to hug and they didn't and I'm sad). When he kept calling him crybaby I laughed so hard. I loved all the members of their team and the dynamic between them. I knew he was going to be able to get back to the past, but the thought of him having all these emotional goodbyes and then just walking back and forth through the tunnel and nothing happening made me laugh.

All in all, a great drama and I felt satisfied from the ending. Definitely my favorite drama from this year.

I loved the ending, I feel like it ended in such a beautiful way. Finding out that Kwang Ho was named after Kwang Ho (but then knowing what happens to him is upsetting) and Sunjae and Yeon Ho being childhood friends were simple aspects but I loved it. And telling the victim's relatives he'd been caught definitely closed the drama nicely for me.

i like the ending! while i was interested in how the future would have been affected by kwang ho's return to the past (like what's the impact of Yeon Ho having an happy childhood on her future and would Sung Jae and Yeon Ho get together differently now bc they were raised as childhood friends?) but it's also nice they left it an open ending, so every viewer on his own could decide how it all would have worked out

also those group scenes :( i really liked their lil cute police team, that last dinner with all 5 of them was so cute yet sad ;w;

super happy to have watched this from the start till finish and i'm pretty sure it will remain as one of my faves of this year
