the story of anck su namum is super interesting (kpop always teaches me things i never knew lol)

Anck-Su-Namun was the imperial concubine of Pharaoh Seti I. She began an affair with the High Priest of Osiris, Imhotep, which was forbidden because no other men were allowed to touch her (Pharaoh had her painted in gold so that he would know if anyone touched her as they woud have gold on them). When the affair was discovered by Seti l (Imhotep smeared her paint off her shoulder so Seti realised), she committed suicide shouting "My body is no longer his temple!”

It's such a great movie in the sense that it has a laughable plot, some funny lines, action and it so late 90s


I hope she won't get backlash for doing this considering the remake is supposed to be released this year
Also I wonder about the copyright issue if there is some (but since she altered the spelling a bit I guess it might be ok?)

hm maybe they wont have issues, cao lu was dressed as snow white and nothing bad happened

i'm kind of hyped for this because if its based on the mummy thing then it might be like the lyrics from crazy dog but it'll probably be something about a bad lover (although im hoping for some lowkey digs at the industry/treating idols as possessions)
