shape of you team has over 1 million views on the group performance version on naver. seems like that hype video going around on twitter made by kfans is doing its job getting it justice! next highest is playing with fire, but its like 700k views behind even.

park ji hoon's fancam has the most views for this round, as expected, but daniel's is only like 50k views down. bae jinyoung's is 3rd but he's at about half the views that jihoon & daniel have.

it'll be interesting to see how the views change, tho tbh they're not always the greatest way of knowing who's safe. Jo Jinyoung's individual shock fancam is still the 25th most viewed video on the channel but he got kicked off last time. probably a good indicator of jihoon and daniel's popularity tho!

there is no way to save the atrocity that is rhythm ta but gwanghyun did his best! i'm gonna miss him. his team was almost completely edited out of the last episode (and the preview for this week's episode didn't show them either), so he'll probably get eliminated this weekend.

woodam looked so awkward dancing :c honestly, fuck everyone that chose vocal but ended up sounding like shit. he ranked in the 20s last week though, so i think he's safe.

samuel was a great center and i hope his rank goes up again! the get ugly performance is probably my favorite.

Mnet almost forgot to upload Seongwoo's video and everyone was like "STOP PLAYING WHERE'S ONG!" lmao. I was really excited for Get Ugly because we didn't get to see the actual performance last week, and oh boy, this team really does leave an impression! So much stage charisma. They all performed well; tbh I was mildly surprised at Hyeongseop picking this song and he was the one I was the most unsure about, but the boy did just fine. I don't know why they keep making him wear a headband, though. For some reason it makes him look like a kid lol. KANG DAMNIEL NEEDS TO STOP BEFORE HE KILLS ME.

Watching all the If It's You eye-contact performances once again made me hopeful for all 4 of them to stay on, but yeah, I know I should not have expectations by now if I want to make it through the second elimination without feeling like my heart's about to get ripped out. Sigh. While I love Yongguk and applaud him for doing so well, I still do think Seongri and Jinwoo did even better.

Downpour. Gosh, I love Jaehwan's voice. If I can't have Seongri/Jinwoo in the Top 11, please, please give me Jaehwan. Sewoon's not bad, too, but Jaehwan's definitely my pick for various reasons. Sungwoon did great, especially since he was kind of underwhelming in BIL. Surprised at how little Minhyun got to sing. Considering how awful Hyunbin sounded in Sorry Sorry (I'm Sorry Sorry to his stans lol), I had zero expectations, and yeah, he completely underwhelmed me lol. But I did feel for him, since he looked so emotional and fearful (of criticism). Anyway, I never blamed him for slacking and going off to hide in his own little corner during Sorry Sorry practices; it wasn't laziness imo, I think he knows exactly where he stands in terms of abilities and is well-aware of the fact that he's a slow learner, so at that point he probably thought he should just give up so that he could end his own misery and go home already. It's heartwarming to see that Hyunbin has bonded with the rest of the Sorry Sorry 2 team, putting aside the ability thing. I still think he totally isn't ready for the idol life, though. Same goes for the Cube chicks (as in they're not debut-ready), even though I really like Seonho and think he's absolutely charming.

Watching Woodam and Sangbin perform Pop hurt a little because neither wanted a dance song, and I couldn't help but feel they might have been feeling a bit dead inside while performing. They did well, though, so props to them for giving it their best. Jung Jung and Justin are too precious. Please, South Korea, at least let one of them make it through the next elimination. I admittedly felt a tad uncomfortable seeing Justin perform Shape Of You because of the whole context of the song. NO, I do not want to put my body on you lol. But this child is so cute and is pretty much the perfect idol, despite still being somewhat unpolished. It always blows my mind how he looks and acts like a kid, but towers above a majority of the boys at 180 cm lol. People are always like "OMG baby Justin is taller than jungle-man Dongho! I need a moment." By the way, does anyone else think the handkerchief parts in SOY looked a bit awkward? Idk, I personally didn't think they were necessary. Donghan's current hairstyle / hair colour is a blessing tbh. HE LOOKS SO, SO AMAZING.

Spring Day was unmemorable on the whole, especially when compared to If It's You and Downpour. KENTA. I didn't know whether he'd pick a dance or vocal song, but I'm glad he went for the latter because he didn't get a chance to show that he's a decent singer in Be Mine. I actually think he did the best out of all the boys in this performance even though he didn't have many parts - everyone else honestly didn't leave much of an impression on me, including little Woojin.

I've only watched about half of the eye-contact performances, but this is already so long so I guess I'll stop here lol. Too many thoughts, too little time! This show is, quite frankly, pretty much all I think about these days when it comes to Korean entertainment.

I'm so mad that some really bad but higher ranked guys took the rap spots (coughDongbinGuanlinMinhocough) and deprived talented guys like Kim Sangbin to shine. This final 11 is gonna end up having no decent rappers at all and I'm gonna blame it all on Minho. But really the rap performances were all so disappointing they made Moonbok sound like a decent rapper. I haven't watched them all but so far I would only save Youngmin, Sanggun and Jinyoung.

I just can't get over Guanlin rhyming "shipo" for 2 minutes I really can't.

I've watched some of the videos. Some thoughts

Woodam: gutted he didn't get to choose a singing part, he's decent enough as a dancer, and has cute expressions, hope he gets to sing next time

Yongguk: voice like honey, and knowing his bg story, it's lovely that he got his time to shine.

Daniel: Damnn like, uh did he just get better looking? I'm not sure how he did that, and he had my attention all the way through.

Noh: I watched the 1/3 sub that showed him getting down to doing the choreo.. this boy is talented, he'd be such a great addition to the final 11
