Omg this was a trip! She's adorable!

Unrelated but I remember when people were discussing their excessive cutesy/baby voices in the beginning and how annoying it was for some (me included) but I was watching a couple of vlives with them and the contrast between them talking in Korean and them talking in English is so big, I found myself yelling at the phone "YOU CAN USE YOUR NORMAL VOICE IN KOREAN AS WELL. PLEASE DO IT." But anyway.

yeah i think it was probably bc of the weekly idol which was the first time they talked in korean for more than a couple of minutes. the contrast between that and their songs + that one english greeting was a bit too much. i don't think they do it on purpose necessarily (for example, i think that's just jennie's voice) but who knows

No yeah I definitely don't think they do it on purpose but more like they were told to do it like that? Because I saw that vlive with them at the dog cafe and then the one with Rose and Lisa out in the field (or wherever they were) and I noticed that when they talk to each other it's pretty normal and they rarely use the cutesy voice so I guess they are also getting more comfortable being in front of the camera and talking normally.
