Ohhh never thought about this, how did Hongseok reacted to not being kept in iKON? Now that he debuted in his own group and seems to enjoy the other members, I don't think it would be too much of a problem for him.

Awww I almost feel bad for him, it sounds like Mix&Match wasn't a good time for him and not only because he wasn't picked in the end.
But ia, he looks happy in Pentagon (also he's one of the most popular members, which wouldn't have happened in iKON); he looks quite relaxed in their vlives and not as much of a show-off as he can seem in more staged variety shows.
We'll probably have a few seconds during win announcements when all groups are standing on stage if Hongseok isn't hiding among his group, but I'm hoping for some behind-the-scenes interractions in those 'what's on Cube?' vlives (though when Yoojin of CLC was talking with girls from another idol group, the girls weren't showed... guess the managers need to agree first).

Ikon would definitely remember him. I think it worked out for the best all around- he wasn't yg style at all and what happened with nam tae would have happened with him too probably (as far as leaving goes).

Yes!!! it would have been too quick (especially with Triple H promoting) for a proper comeback but a pre-release track is perfect. I guess the comeback will be just after their concert on June?
Really looking forward to this, the words seemed pretty cute so I'm expecting a song dedicated to their fans!

Yeah, I think it'll be kind of like what they did with their first comeback. Maybe they'll drop an MV, have the concerts (June 10-12) then promote regularly on music shows after.

That would be clever. Rather than a simple comeback showcase, have a whole concert including exclusive performances for their fans, and then regular promos
