Broduce 60: Yoon Jisung Makes His Instagram Private After Malicious Comments

MMO’s Yoon Ji Sung, who is currently on “Produce 101 Season 2,” has made his personal Instagram private following malicious comments.

On the May 5 broadcast of Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2,” he surprised everyone, including himself, by placing third place in the first official ranking ceremony.

During the show, Yoon Ji Sung cried happy tears while saying, “Although I’m not young, I’m still taking small steps towards finding my dream. I hope that I can become a better person so that people who are having second thoughts about their dream due to different circumstances can find strength again.”

Yoon Ji Sung has been a trainee for five years and three months, and is 27 years old in Korean age. As most idols tend to debut in their teens, he is quite a bit older.

He started off the show at 35th place after the first episode, moved up to 19th after the second, then went into ninth place after the third episode. He is getting lots of love for his likeable personality, funny comments and reactions, and his perpetual, good-natured smile.

However, some argued that he was only able to climb to third place after an excessive amount of screen time, and attacked his Instagram demanding to know whether he had someone in Mnet looking after him. It seems that made the account private due to these malicious comments.

This wasn’t the first time a “Produce 101 Season 2” trainee was attacked on social media; last week, another trainee, Kwon Hyun Bin, also deleted all posts on his Instagram after receiving malicious comments.

I was fuming ever since the teaser for the ep.5 came out and they started creating chaos in the comments on naver tv. Of course it only got worse after the episode aired.
Imo he is the most entertaining person in this show and he's not even getting that much of screen time compared to some other people. And his rise in the rating was steady.
What I found really funny though is that the people who I've seen cursing him the most and questioning his ~talents~ on twitter among kfans are stanning Guanlin and Jihoon. Like, really... ;)

lol what do they mean by "had someone in Mnet looking after him"? He's literally under Music Makes One? it's not exactly hidden... I'd understand if he didn't back up his entertainment value with any discernable talent but he has a ton of stage presence. I couldn't take my eyes off him in 10/10.

Ofc he's gonna get more screen time MNET is a fucking business and he's popular. Personally I think they give Samuel and other members more screen time just for sitting and talking like.... a lot of Jisung's screen time is his meme moments. Smh netizens

If he didn't get as much screen time as he does I probably would've stopped watching after episode 1, like I have mr favs and he's definitely one of them but the others aren't nearly as entertaining and then we got to see how nice and how driven toward his goal he is in episode 3 and I can't see how people couldn't like him? Or at least how people could dislike hime

He actually has not that much screentime compared to some people? I laughed at some article saying that he was the "2nd Sohye", Sohye's great right now but during PD101 we all know what she was like. Jisung is so good the trainers made his team change the center position to him? He can dance and sing?
