Wonder Girls arrive in Shanghai!

With immense popularity acquired from the hit song” Nobody”, South Korean quintets the Wonder Girls (Min Sunye, Park Ye Eun, Sunmi, Ahn Sohee, Kim Yubin), arrived at the Shanghai airport earlier today. The security were already well prepared to welcome the girls’ arrival. However, judging from the state, the number of fans turned up at the airport were minimal. The number of bodyguards were more than the fans turned up at the airport. Just like an classic instance of “Song popular but not the artistes” example.



When the 5 girls showed up, despite only a number of fans, they yet still shouted the girls’ name. Sunmi was leading in the line with a cast attached to her right leg, her expression was seemed to be moody, perhaps due to the injury or other reasons. Member, Sohee was seen wearing a cap tightly but yet, she still reveal her cute little smile to the camera. Yubin was seen wearing a black shade, kept waving to the fans, and even received the gifts from the fans at the airport. Leader Sunye, was seen smiling even though without make-up, she yet still seemed to give a warm feeling.

Wonder Girls Concert to be a Big Dance party, Special guests: 2PM

Our reporter understands from the organizers of the Wonder Girls’ Shanghai Concert that they have invited the famous Kpop Boy Group 2PM as guests to the concert.

The Wonder Girls expressed great excitement towards their first concert in Shanghai, and that they returned to Korea from the US before schedule, to rehearse and practice for the concert. SunYe expressed on the blog, “We (Wonder Girls) have currently put down all other work and place the concert in top priority, and are very eager to meet all their fans in China.”

Sunmi left a comment on the blog, “You (the fans) will experience the best and most exciting performance.” According to their manager (JYP), the whole of the concert will be a big dance party, and fans are invited to dance and sing along to 20 over songs. Apart from that, 2PM, who has just been awarded with the 2009 MNet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) Best Artist Award, will be invited as guests.
