Ugh you tell me. Sad to say but even if the other groups I like fall apart, at least I'm glad beast/highlight is free and doing good (and actually better than when they were under cube lol)
yeah, i was devastated with 2016 and 2017 claiming my favourites (they've been dead for years but i am still not over 2ne1 tbh ;____;) but at least there still some that are going stronger than ever to soothe my pain.
Yeah, I wouldn't go as far as say I was devastated but I can share the sentiment. They already took all my favs, so "the worst" has already passed, now I'm just wondering who is next on the list at this point.
Ah yeah, that too! Two years sounds really long and the same time there are always so many things happening in this industry that I sometimes don't even realize it's already been 2 years, like for yunho, changmin (and half of suju lol). Hopefully it will pass in a breeze for the others too.
ah that's true, it really passes quickly, although i never had a singer from a favourite group go to the military. first one that i care about and left is TOP, but big bang takes such long breaks anyway i won't even notive he's gone lol. right now i get sadder and sadder about shinee and infinite tho :<
I wonder about the others. If I read correctly about the new law about enlistment, you can get limited exemption for multiple reasons such as if you just started your entrepreneurship (like highlight) or if you're studying in uni, which is the case of all shinee members. I remember some guys from infinite already graduated from uni so that's probably not an option unless they decide to do a phd or a master degree but yeah, sunggyu is strongly suggesting he's gonna enlist in the following year(s), so I guess we'll just have to brace ourselves for the announcement? Considering they're up for contract renewal this year, it seems the logical moment to leave for the army I suppose, and maybe come back after with the group, or go solo. Dongwoo too, what with his father passing away recently, he might either want to continue if he thinks the group makes him earn enough money to help his mother, or he might prefer to go solo or retire from entertainment, go to the army and settle with a family. I've always been under the impression he could go both ways, what with his dutiful personality toward his family.
as far as i know infinite graduated lately?? so if they do get called there'll just have to go. man, 7 years with them wasn't enough. i mean i'll get over it obviously, but i'll be really dramatic for some time if any member leaves :'(

I know they graduated a couple years back (I think?), but I don't remember what diploma they got (if it was bachelor or master degree), so I was just throwing out ideas here. haha I know for exemple Xiumin is doing his PhD now, which seems like such a convenient timing lol (good for him if it means he won't have to go for another year).
I like to speculate about these type of things. It's entertaining, and I guess it's my way of "coping" with the feels, by rationalizing the possible outcomes. Don't mind my rambling. haha
