Coming up on Flashback Friday’s 1 year anniversary! I know because two of these songs were featured in the very first post! But they’re back again because they were on the charts for MONTHS, wow so popular! Since I’ve already posted the MVs for those songs, we’ll have live performances this time around. Every week I go back for this Friday in the charts in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. For this week, we’re going back to the 4th week in March, 2008.


#3 Jewelry “One More Time”
Ah, this damn dance! I don’t dance sober, but I will forever do the finger thing…it’s so iconic! I was surprised to hear fangirls chanting and screaming for a girl group. It seems like now it’s only fanboys cheering for the girl groups. Anyways, how banging is Baby J’s body?!? Almost makes me want to get on the floor and do some crunches. Almost.

#2 Lee Seung Gi “I’ll Give You All”
I thought I didn’t remember this song at all…but when it chorus kicked it, it sounded really familiar. He looks so young! I mean, he still kind of does have a young looking face, but it’s even more baby here.

#1 Gummy featuring T.O.P “I’m Sorry”
YG’s Siberian Huskies are so very dramatic in the live performances! It’s funny, watching the MV I never thought of this song as something I could dance to. But the live performances make me bop. But wtf is Gummy wearing around her waist? I miss Tabi.

#4 Mighty Mouth featuring Yoon Eun Hye “I Love You”
I remember this song, but not the MV. Both the song and MV are really cute!

#10 Davichi “I Love You Even Though I Hate You”
Davichi’s debut song did very well on the charts! Actually, multiple songs off this album did well. This is such a great MV! One of those extra long KDrama MVs, it stars actress Lee Miyeon and Lee Hyori. If you liked the MV, the second part of the story continues with the MV for “Sad Promise”.

Ahh. That Lee Seung Gi song is a cover. I was like "wait......I know this song.......but don't remember it being by him." Onew sang that song (lots of people do, tbh) on 1000 song challenge and I fell in love with it. Wish he sang the whole thing.
