I've always liked your icon. As soon as I saw that moment in the video teaser I was like "that would make a great icon", so I wasn't surprised to see it. Change is always good, but don't get rid of it completely! At least not until I steal it first

Yes, it's from Beat. It's honestly not that great of a movie, but damn was he hot back then. Not that he isn't now. I've actually seen him in real life a couple of years ago and he's still very handsome.

Yeah, I expected more to be entertained than wowed by Beat. I've just seen clips of it when he's on a variety and they show those and yeah, he was so beautiful. Also, I'm so jealous!! I think there was a plan for him to come to my country a little while ago, but it was in a completely different area; so I couldn't have gone anyways. I don't even know if that ever worked out either. Can I ask you how you got to see him?

The London Korean Film Festival was doing a retrospective of his movies and he showed up to do a Q&A after one of them (i think it was Cold Eyes). Kang Dong Won was there the same year for Kundo.

Since it's just the first of two pre-release songs, I fear she won't really promote this. Maybe she will for her lead single that will be released with the album (I think). Though I still don't know if she will attend music shows?? And I don't have the faintest clue what kind of single we'll get from her this time around.^^

Omg, I was still stuck with the news that Sketchbook was ending! But I just looked it up and it turns out that was #fakenews; I'm so glad!! Yeah, then she's definitely gonna go there! And you're right; there is definitely a good chance that she would perform Through the Night there. Let's hope for the best. :3

Seems like you saw the same articles as me. :'D I was so bummed, I think Sketchbook is one of the coolest formats on Korean TV (I wish we had a show like that). But when I was looking it up on Google, it seems like KBS clarified that there is no intention to cancel it.

Yeah, I love the live singing and the different renditions as well. Zion.T just recently did a really cool jazzy version of Dodohae (https://youtu.be/HGtnn2CGmjU) there, it was awesome.

Yeah. I can't remember where I saw it at. Either here or allkpop. I thought it was weird at first because that's like one of the only shows Yoo Hee Yeol hosts (besides being on kpop star and that's on its last season), and I thought that Sketchbook was super popular and a lot of people watched it.

I'm not sure I would call this an innocent concept, it's more of a nostalgic/retro vibe to me. I think the argument she was trying to make with 23 was not that she wanted to be sexualized in her MVs, but that she did not want to be infanticized.
