Hi, Omona! What are your plans for the weekend? Anything exciting in sight? I'll be at home chilling because there's nothing interesting to do where I live.

Went to see Beauty and the Beast last week and it was okay I guess. The 3D effects were pretty awesome but other than that I wasn't really impressed probably because I know the original animated movie and loved it, it looked better in the teasers tho. Plus, Emma Watson was kinda meh.

Oh and I had a dream last night about BTS coming to Europe but pretty sure it will remain only a dream.

i went on a 6k jog/walk (mostly walking tbh) yesterday and my feet and ankles are aching. i don't get how people do things like this all the time lol. it's the first time i've ever tried anything like that, so i'm proud of myself for just finishing.

Hello loves! It's my first time at one of these, and I'm actually on time haha. How was everyone's week?

I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE BTS NEXT WEEKEND and can't believe it's a real thing that's actually happening omg I get to see their beautiful faces live esp my bb Taehyung ;~;. It's my first ever kpop concert and I've been into kpop for a loooong time (over 7 years!) Is anyone else going? I still need to get my outfit together too.

In other news, I'll be starting college again soon for the first time in 5 years...and of course need to take a higher level math, ugh :( But maybe it won't be so bad because the school seems really accessible to tutoring and my advisor seems great so far. We shall see. It'll certainly be an...experience lol.

I went to my first taekwondo tournament last weekend! I got beaten pretty bad, but it was an awesome experience and I still got a silver medal, so! Now to just. stop being sore, lmfao

Reporting from Seoul! Day 1.5 and I'm already tired af. Typing as I eat leftover delivered chicken while Music Bank is playing on TV lol

I didn't rent a phone/SIM this time so I'm just navigating around by instinct and memory. I'm staying at the same place in Hapjeong where I stayed for the summer 3 years ago and not much has changed except somehow there's even more hip cafes and pasta places. Also the subway station is filled w/ ur faves' birthday billboards. I spotted a huge one for Mino above the entrance for the line 6, Hoya, P.O.?, Lovelyz's Jisoo, someone from iKON (One? sry not too familiar w/ a lot of groups nowadays), and even one for KARA's anniversary.

and I've seen more white ppl around than I remember, not just in the touristy places but out and about in random areas. And I noticed that people are more receptive to holding a conversation w/ me in Korean than before. Usually in the past when I try to initiate they respond back in English but I'm pleasantly surprised this time around. (the pessimist in me says it's bc I've gotten lighter and I dressed to blend in today).

Hello! Wishing everyone a great weekend, hope you all spend a great week :D

Last week I was extremely bitter and worried about my job (... politics), and so much happened again this week, it might actually be better for me! There are going to be a lot of reportings and audits of structures I'm coordinating, which is not going to be easy, and there's ofc a lot of pressure... But I've met so many new people already (and important ones, my deputy mayor (retired, giving all his time to the townhall lmao) already had me meeting one other deputy mayor + another one soon + maybe the mayor directly in a few days???? omg what am I going to say lol) + there's one big project that is starting today (!) which is really motivating.
And my coworker asked me call someone I used to work with years ago (we even had a business trip in Berlin together!) but haven't talked to in a really long time, it's so nice that work is giving me opportunities to catch up like that :)

Lots of birthdays in Paris soon, I really don't know when I'll be able to stop! and relax for a while because the next three weekends are already going to be so busy

In kpop-related things, it kinda sucks that so much is happening but I'm so late to everything and there's so much to catch up on, esp got7 is a group that never takes a rest, I haven't stanned such an active group before and I'm overwhelmed by the constant updates. But anyways, I hope Got7 wins Inkigayo on Sunday because Jackson would be there and Jinyoung would be handing the trophy to them ;-;

(also I'm happy to have Jackson back tho I can't help it that that guy makes me worry so much, with how long this break was (by his standards sigh) I wonder how long over-due this break was and I hope they're not forcing him back to work)

Work has been so stressful lately!!!! I feel myself asking if it's worth it all the time. I really want out but I gotta stay at least a year. Which is in September.... but what's interesting is that all the people I work with feel this way. The company I work for is so unorganized and the processes are broken so it's hard to get things done.

i cut my hair above my shoulders on tuesday. it's so floofy i love it! my hairdresser wouldn't let me go that short because 'your hair is curly, it'll go all mushroom-y' hmm i wonder who knows my hair better hmmmmmmm? a friend is coming round later to do headshots for me so i have to maintain this cut now so good thing i like it! my natural colour is also growing in for the first time in years and i was unsure about it but people around me have been really complimentary about it??? which is so nice!

i also booked a week in prague in august. i have a bunch of friends from all over europe i meet up with once a year, i'm super hyped to go back to prague, it was one of my favourite meets.

Calling all Omona beauty/skincare experts! I'm in need of help (and should probably get help from a professional, but I'm pretty broke at the moment, so that has to wait for now).

I’m suffering from mild to moderate acne (I've been told I have a combination skin that’s supposedly dehydrated, so my pores get clogged pretty easily – lots of blackheads on my nose, clogged closed pores esp on my chin (which pm looks like this (http://img.webmd.com/dtmcms/live/webmd/consumer_assets/site_images/articles/health_tools/acne_visual_dictionary_slideshow/dermnet_rm_photo_of_mild_acne.jpg)), on my cheeks (more on the right than the left, and I usually sleep on my left side) and on the sides of my face (I wouldn’t call them whiteheads since they don’t have that white dot) and occasionally small whiteheads here and there) and I’m making it worse by trying to squeeze out all the junk when I’m stressed, so I often have a lot of scars (the same applies to my back). It’s not exactly helping that I have a hard time keeping up with my skincare routine since I end up going to bed too tired…
I was hoping I could see some improvements by eating differently and by staying off sweets (I have an enormous sweet tooth and tend to believe the sugar also affects my skin) this month, but supposedly an excessive lathering of sunscreen during my skiing trip last week followed by a squeezing spree last week has my skin looking… Not so great, once again.

My not so consistent skincare routine consists currently of a cleansing foam (http://www.aco.fi/tuotteet/face/normaali/rebalancing-cleansing-foam/), Garnier's pink micellar water I usually use as a toner and to remove makeup before cleansing (I don't wear makeup that often), this eye cream (http://www.erisan.fi/tuote/uudistava-silmanymparysvoide/), Nivea creme as my night cream/a 15 spf day cream (http://www.erisan.fi/tuote/suojaava-sk15-kasvovoide/). In the morning, I wash my face with cold water, dab it dry with a towel and then use micellar water+day cream. I also tend to exfoliate and use a mask weekly.

Has anyone any tips on how to improve the condition of the skin? Even though I know I should start being consistent with my skin care and stop picking on my skin, I probably need to be told to do that too, hahah.

I have combo skin too. I used tooverwash my face which isn't so great for the skin and exfoliating with something too aggressive can also be an issue as well.

How's the water were you live? If there's too much limestone, it can damage your skin

A god amount of skin problem can be linked to your mental and physical state too. If you're too tired or too stressed it may have an impact.

After 3 days in Rome, I came home yesterday night. It was the first time that I almost missed my flight, definitely eventful haha.

edit: also, I spent less than expected in my trip so now that I've got money to spend, I'm thinking of actually buying my first kpop album(s) since none of my faves are coming to europe anyway and, honestly, NCT 127's discography sounds like a good investment.
