I love most of the pieces but some of them are just tragic (what is that dress? It looks like a curtain.) Also, Jessica could probably wear a dress made of a trashbag and she would look good in it.
Her collection is really hit-miss for me but I have that with most (high end) brands nowadays. Her sunglasses are still solid for me and though I haven't seen any of her clothes in real life I hear the quality is really good.
I just hope she is still able to promote in China with THAAD since I feel that most of her sales are there. Don't know if her clothing line will actually be affected though.
yeah this and the textiles they use aren't cheap either (like they have items that are 100% silk) nor is the work done on it. (the latter is just a guess lol) i think it's still overpriced, but its being expensive in general is justified. unlike clothes from fast fashion retailers, these basic pieces are meant to last. there are tons of brands that house this sort of casualwear. they're meant for repeated use and to be paired with items already existing in one's wardrobe
lmao sorry i dont even like b+e but as someone who works in fashion i feel like i constantly have to defend expensive clothes
of course i share the same name as one of the most basic piece 😌
is it me or blanc & eclare releases their season collection way too late.. like every time?? like for fast fashion/retail, shouldn't her s/s collection be available since late january/early feb??
My favourite B&E collection so far was Summer ‘16 (I think me and my sis together bought half the collection! xd), but I really like this one too (except that one pink dress, it looks horrific! x.x).
I'm really thinking about buying a few pieces again.
the simple and 'basic' :P is 70% of my wardrobe so I find some of this to be really nice! and she's stuck to her 'personal brand' which I think was good. I love that she didn't take the easy route and stuck to high quality, and for me as a potential customer it matters because I have OCD about spending money on clothes I can't trust to last haha! honestly with tax, import fees coupled with manufacturing cost/profit margins being what they are, if these pieces are indeed made in Italy, it's certainly not the worst price point I've seen. There's plenty of "designers" with a horrible quality product charging 350-450 USD for a top... next time I'm in NYC I want to check the store out, if only because I really, really like seeing her pursue her dream and doing well. :)
i love jessica and her fashion style, shes my fasion rolemodel. but i feel like her brand doesnt evolve. all her designs so far have been the same, you could throw them all together and wouldnt notice which one belongs to which season. like with other brands they try something new every season but hers are always the same colors and styles.
