The one saying it isn't very her-- Ya'll know JYP himself gave her shit for the sound of her first mini? So she probably made a fuck ton of changes to appease to him? Before finally getting it released??? How she orginally wanted that mini to sound might not be what we all heard. This is her first work without JYP and other producers breathing down her neck and telling her it isn't good enough soooo.... lmfao
... ANYWAY, I appreciate the mellow-ness of it. *u* and I also appreciate that there's an instrumental version. I've been really into dreamy EDM lately so this and Luna's solo and a lot of BTS's and GOT7's latest music have been The Shit I Do Like.
They probably think that because it doesn't really sound like anything from her solo. Which I understand if they don't know how much she had to go through to get even a MINI album released but this is probably more her than Me? was. Maybe she added a ? to the title because it WASN'T her. (:
IA, but i also think this is not her best track tbh. It sounds way more generic than her other compositions (including the ones on rebible reboot). I mean it's not bad but it's also not her best work, at least for me.
It's okay, not everyone is gonna like it. She's coming out with another album this year (hopefully a full one) and maybe it'll have something better. She's still got an entire career ahead of her and I kind of hope she follows in Lee Hyori's footsteps with her solo work.
it's nice. not great, but nice. her vocals do sound weird here, almost like they weren't mixed properly. anyway, did she officially join amoeba or not?
