"Into the New Heart" is one mess of an intro

"You and Me Together" and "Fairy tail" are both nice but overall that release is lacking in oumph, there's no wow effect, it's very forgettable.
Their vocals still need more work

it's a cute intro mini, but they need a lot more work if they want to stand out from the typical cute girl groups, their mvs are always on point but their songs are lackluster and i really want loona to succeed :(

what even is into the new heart

you and me together was a huge upgrade from love & live but it sounds too tame(?) a retro song like that should have been more energetic, like i'll be there (it sounds a lot like i'll be there too)

fairy tale is really pretty and relaxing but it would have been better if all 4 of the girls had decent vocals rather than haseul carrying most of the song with heejin chiming in here and there

Even if it's a mess, I like the idea of Into the New Heart lmao. I wish they could have spaced out the different parts of it (that makes it so overwhelming because they're all packed together and uh what a wall of noise) and turn it into a song. It doesn't work as an intro, there are too many things going on at the same time lol.

Otherwise, cute songs! My favourite is You & Me Together which reminds me of a chiller I'll Be There, and Fairytale. I enjoy the mini because I enjoy this brand of cute, but I'm a bit disappointed that they went with such a safe sound when previous releases (Vivid especially, but even I'll Be There had a really nice beat and interesting pre-chorus) were less so, they'll need to go back to their experimenting touches if they want to exist in this oversaturated market.
Also Haseul is good and Heejin can help her but they need other strong vocalists in a 12-member girl group.

some of the songs are really generic but the mini seems to be on par with other girl groups so I don't get some of the reactions here
