i mean, holding at #5 during peak hours when twice, taeyeon and a goblin ost track are on the charts is fine... i think we can only really judge after a week or so has passed. rookie didn't look like it was going to chart amazingly but it held up well.

it debuted at #4 when it was released yesterday and dropped to #5 after a couple of hours... was still there the last time I checked last night. it's 6am in korea atm so the charts don't mean much lol, just boy group fans pushing their faves releases up.

I'm a teensy bit concerned about their charting, but they won't start their proper promotions of the sing until Thursday iirc (MCountdown) so I'm going to wait and see how things go there

I love this release, it's such a solid mini. They sound good, of course Yuju is everywhere, but Eunha/SinB/Yerin/Umji improved so much since their debut! I can't really judge Sowon, she still barely gets lines
Crush is a bop!
And I love how they're mixing violins with deep house influences (?!) in Hear the Wind Sing, not what I was expecting and it works well! Reminds me a bit of Gone With the Wind/Compass, I would be happy if they kept experimenting with these sounds in their next releases.
The song I care "less" about is probably Rain in the Spring Time, but it's still an interesting ballad and the lyrics are pretty.

this might rival snowflake as my favourite gfriend release. my initial impression based on the highlight melody was completely off lol, i'm v glad.

I am seriously in love with this album, definitely my favourite from them.

Hear The Wind Sing is THE ONE. I can't describe the euphoria of those violins in the intro and the drop into the drumtrack, then the hand claps up to the chorus. It's bugging me that the pop sound is so like my email notification though; I keep thinking I've got an email when it's the song.

I literally listened to Fingertip on repeat all the way to work and all the way back - TANG TANG TANGing my way down the road. The ONE TWO THREE FOUR before the dance break is perfect and I can't wait to hear it being shouted at all the lives.

I love Rain In The Spring Time, when that chorus soars in it's just gorgeous.
