Fantagio Addresses Multiple Issues RE: ASTRO

Hello. This is Fantagio.

There were lots of issues we couldn't address quickly, and we would like to deeply apologize.

We, Fantagio, are sorry to all Arohas, and will address all the issues.


Eunwoo's Health and Schedules

Eunwoo was taken to the hospital right after the Taiwan showcase and was diagnosed and treated at the spot. He was advised to rest for a day and he didn't participate in the interview and variety show on the next day.

After this issue, we have tried our best to modify any schedules to prioritize Eunwoo, and of course ASTRO's health. But it was difficult to completely cancel any schedules we promised with fans, and Eunwoo healed very quickly, so he carried on with the other schedules.

We apologize for worrying you all and not being able to explain at that moment.


'Should Have Held On' Music Video

ASTRO filmed the music video and album jacket photoshoot for 'Should Have Held On'. But we came to a conclusion that the final product of the music video did not match ASTRO's image and/or concept, and it didn't match what we had in plan, so we decided after much discussion to not release the music video.

Up until the actual release of the special album, the ASTRO members and staff have discussed if we should release the music video. We tried our best to come up with contents in replacement of the music video, but the final product was not to our liking, so we didn't release that as well.

We do admit that we, Fantagio, did not prepare well enough, and that we may have come to the wrong conclusion. We apologize for not explaining the situation, and apologize once again for disappointing Arohas who have been waiting for the music video.


'Confession' Practice Video

We did plan to film the 'Confession' practice video, but due to conflicts within the schedule, we couldn't film it. ASTRO continued 'Confession' promotions without us rescheduling it, and lost the timing with the end of 'Confession' promotions; please understand.

We, Fantagio, promise to prioritize ASTRO's health before scheduling any activities and events in the future. We apologize again for not explaining the situation, and we will continue to work hard so ASTRO can grow and develop more.

Once again, we apologize to Arohas who love and care for ASTRO.

The one about Eunwoo's health is related to him not feeling well after the Taiwan showcase back at the end of February. I hope they really take his health into account, he's been working non-stop since they debuted. The missing MV and dance practice tho...

... what's there to film about a practice video? I assume they practiced at some point, just set up a camera and roll. Just make sure footsteps are audible, because that's the best part!

I just wish they had said this before ?? like about the MV like KNK's agency did, I felt so confused for days because they had mentioned they did film the MV, then sort of assumed they were gonna release it at their fanmeet but then nothing?? Still really curious about the result, like how bad it could be to just decide not to release it at all... I feel like the seasons concept is incomplete without the MV for winter T_T
Also, just give me confession/should've held on to you practice videoo even if they're not promoting T_T Infinite uploaded Bad practice after they ended promos too, what's the big dealll

Anyway hopefully they will have some rest after kcon, their schedule has been so crazy lately specially Eunwoo..

Yeah idk why this is coming out now instead of when the album was released. At least when KNK released the dance version of their MV, you could clearly see the video quality problems that made their excuse for scrapping the regular version seem plausible.

fantagio is so shady tbh. so they did actually film a mv and smth else to replace that, and then ended up scrapping the whole thing. what a waste of time and money. i honestly would've been happy w a performance video in a box. at least showcase the awesome choreography.

they say the mv wasn't scrapped bc of quality issues but bc it didn't match their image/concept (did they not monitor what the production company were doing??? wat), which is probably bs but if isn't it's even more annoying, like this is a new level of incompetency. they don't have a clue what they're doing.

I really don't understand how Fantagio let an MV be filmed and then afterwards decided that it didn't fit Astro's image/concept. Looking at the Should've Held On live stage, the only thing I can think that would fit Fantagio's story is that maybe the MV was moving away from the cute image that they've had so far and Fantagio decided that they wanted them to stay with cute a bit longer?

that's exactly what i was thinking but like. that's just so dumb. ??? this is just a special release, they're not promoting it anyway, it's just for fans. let them to do smth a little bit different.

i was fine with no mv if they didn't have time to film one. but to actually make one even tho they're so busy/overworked and then scrap the whole thing for this bs reason seems completely ridiculous.

I can see why Eunwoo is so busy these days. Dongho (Ukiss) literally went through the same thing when their group was starting out. They need to be put out there so people will take notice and not forget them. I really hope they take care of the boys well. It may be hard for their agency to balance coz they're just taking everything as they come, afraid to miss a chance that might eventually go to someone else then later on be blamed for not doing it.

I stan CUBE boy groups mostly so I dont know what a dance practice video is hahaha kiddin'

i'm upset, but not surprised that fantagio would push eunwoo so hard to the point where he got super sick. they've been pushing him since Astro's debut. i remember after the hide & seek mv was released, the agency said they were sending eunwoo to china to act and i was like "can't he just focus on one thing at a time?"

i just feel so sorry for him for being this sick & this exhausted. i hope he gets better!
