There is a Toronto kcon! And yes they're the first night! It's pretty small, but they have theee acts over the dates of May 12-14, each headlining a night. Kard is headlining first night. Tickets go on sale this Saturday I think for their show and then the other performers haven't been announced yet (I'm thinking Monsta X and Mamamoo).

Styling was on point. I Iove the idea of putting them all in suits. The lack of synergy between the vocal track and the video threw me off, but I really enjoyed the English lyrics! The hook is so, so good.

1.) lack of processing of layering in the vocals 2.) also wished they changed BM and J.Seph's position in the pre-chorus since that's the only part J.Seph sings and he's in the back, barely visible.

the english doesnt sound awk anymore on the second listen. and jseph sings yaaaas (although he's kept hidden while doing so, lol poor thing). i wish they could style jiwoo better. i feel like they keep giving her more boyish costume in attempt to make her the next girl crush ala moonbyul /shrug/
also, jseph is so cute on ASC. he's srsly the one in charge for foreign language

ya I noticed it on BM's first part especially but kinda throughout. It's too bad. Even though I only know like 4 words in Korean, I'll mostly stick with the original version. I still like the i-fan service though!
J.Seph should sing more and all the time, preferably in a higher range than this. He has a nice voice, I liked it when he sang that rock song in Vlive.

DSP clearly knows how far this could go given a bit of luck and they're tentatively testing the waters, this is a much bigger step beyond the english slanted twitter but still a rather safe one considering they haven't debuted, it's not like anyone will be checking for them if they fail lol. Also now I understand more the tendency the non-BMs have of repeating random english (either from BM or other people like in those reacting to YouTube reaction vids), at first I was like this is cute but idk if it's really helping them learn english that much? But it does help them improve their pronunciation which is probably why they were told to pick up this habit lol it's so cute BM's helping them with that too

oh wow somin and jiwoo in suits! what a blessed life!!!! i'm actually quite impressed by english version and mv too. i expected it to be a bit cringe worthy like most english versions but i liked how song flows a lot. also lyrics are really nice. i didn't expect them to be so good. gotta appreciate whoever worked on them.
Of course the Korean version is better, but it's so impressive that they did an English version of their second song ever and they haven't even debuted yet :O I'd say DSP is doing a really good job but I don't want jinx it.
LOL while watching I was thinking they are doing something different and I was reading the subtitles then it hit me they are singing an English version. I like both versions I really got used to the Korean one, but I enjoyed this English version it was nice to sit back and be able to just enjoy the video without having to read the subs :)
