Yoo Ah In, Im Soo Jung, and Go Kyung Pyo Confirmed for New tvN Drama

tvN’s upcoming drama “Chicago Typewriter” has officially confirmed its main cast. Yoo Ah In, Im Soo Jung, and Go Kyung Pyo have been confirmed to appear in the upcoming drama.

The drama has an intriguing fusion-y fantasy premise, involving Yoo Ah In as a bestselling author, Han Se Joo, called the Korean Stephen King, who falls into a severe career slump. The story centers around him, his ghostwriter Jin Oh (Go Kyung Pyo), his passionate anti-fan (Im Soo Jung), and an old typewriter. Adding a dash of mystery to the plot is the part where the three main characters are also the reincarnated souls of writers who struggled through the turbulent 1930s during the Japanese Occupation years.

The drama is set to air sometime at the end of March.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal as it is the drama that shot him and Song Joongki to fame (the bromance is very cute!). But I would recommend Six Flying Dragon since it is one of the best written kdramas in recent years.

But if you just want to see his versatility as an actor, just watch his movies 'Veteran' and 'Punch'. He's great in both -- playing completely different characters.

I actually haven't watched any of his dramas either. Unpopular opinion but something about his face really bugs me and I've never had the desire to watch any of his shows (minus SFD which I will get to at some point but 50 episodes is killer). This one seems interesting though and I'll probably check it out.

IKR? Its been more than 10 years since she starred in one. Her last one is MiSa back in 2004. NGL, I'm disappointed when she turned down the female lead role for Master Kim. It would be a nice comeback to dramaland considering the high rating the drama received last year. :(
