We haz another boyband "controversy"

With BEAST's leader Yoon Doojoon not attending both MBC's Music Core on the 21st and the Mnet Asian Music Awards on the 22nd, fans are now beginning to worry and speculate why he has been missing.

Although Cube Entertainment had already stated on the 21st that was unable to attend the shows due to personal reasons and that it was nothing bad, the fans are not buying it, as they feel Cube Entertainment is holding something back. Many are even speculating that Doojoon has withdrawn from BEAST.

On the 23rd, Cube Entertainment released another statement:
"We are not able to reveal what it is right now. When the time is right, we will reveal the reason, so please wait."


With the release of Cube Entertainment's latest statement, the fans may have been right to speculate, as what started off as simple "personal reasons," seems to be a little more complicated than that.

This news gave me a heart attack this morning, since the title at AKP was "Yoon Doojoon withdraws from BEAST" (okay it had a question mark but you'll excuse me for not noticing that right away...)

I agree with everyone here, though... rumours are rumours until we get an official statement. Who knows what happened, it's none of our business if it's a personal matter.

well this is how it started with SoYoung from after school. First it was personal reasons, then she was sick, then she left the group.

There wouldn't be a good enough reason for him to leave so soon though. So he probably had a death in his family or something.
