...and it's not even Thanksgiving yet!
Preceding the 2009 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards), 2PM members Wooyoung and Taecyeon updated their minihompy with a concise message to express their gratitude for winning Best Artist of the Year.
Wooyoung wrote a short and sweet "Thank you" on his minihompy, with fans leaving hundreds of comments, such as, "Don't cry. Let's wait for Jaebeom together," "Seeing you cry hurt me. Be strong!", "It makes me wonder how much you suffered... You are still a young idol too."
Taecyeon also left a few words: "We will work hard. Thank you."
When it was announced that 2PM was 2009 MAMA's Best Artist of the Year, the 6 members burst into a mixed reaction of smiles and tears. While each member took turns giving their own spiel, Wooyoung remained in the back with his head hung low, occasionally wiping his overflowing tears. At the sight of a red-eyed 2PM, fans too, joined the waterworks.
During the acceptance speech, the members did not forget to mention Jaebeom and that they were anxiously waiting for their leader's return. Although flabbergasted by receiving such a prestigious award, 2PM thanked Hottests who have always comforted and supported them.
Just as Junho stated, many unfortunate events have occurred this year, just within 2PM alone. However, the awards that they have received serve as a huge strength to them and their fans alike. Here's to hoping that they will experience a similar - if not, greater - success in 2010 (hopefully, one that includes Jaebeom as well).
