Isn't UPRS usually after a new season of SMTM? To me, it would need to be SMTM6 then a new season of unpretty, and they'd probably give her UPRS4 merch if they had it, so I don't really know if she'll be on it.

With what little I see of her promotions and social media, I don't know if she's ready. But it may just be like the last season when they had like 4 new rappers show up to battle (Kool Kid, Ash B came back, someone of Dia(?) was there I think). They might just have her show up but not really end up on the main cast. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (but lol at people leaving comments on her hat picture like "yeah, drag Trudey" like they'd bring her back or Alex could really deliver a deathly Korean 16 about Trudey's BS anyway)

tbh. that's where my mind went to first: how jessi was torn into for using too much english in her raps. like i know jessi ended up coming out of the show as one of the more popular contestants so anything is. possible but mnet is also notorious for their evil editing. :/

I'm assuming they'd judge Alex less-harshly? I mean, I don't doubt it'd be a hindrance, but I'm assuming they're a bit harsher on Jessi because her heritage is still Korean and she's lived there for close to a decade(?).

I've been wanting unpretty rap star to be cancelled since the Trudey incident. We all know this show is staged or else Trudey would not have won. Mnet was in charge of that mess and it didn't matter that they where well aware they offended a whole group of people and still kept her on the show. Bringing a black person on it would not make up for that BS. If I was Alex I would refuse to participate in that show but I guess its easy for me to say that. She is trying to establish her career and Raina isn't doing much for her.

The Korean media pays more attention to international social media than you think. And it was revealed that she was signed under their company even before she won the show meaning they probably where monitoring her social media as well. Like the comment below said both gilme and Yezi called her out on the blackface thing on the show. Despite her getting roasted every episode they still rigged it so she would win. They obviously did not care.

I Love UPRS. (except for Truedy's mfbs Cultural Appropriation) I think UPRS is a pretty good show for exposure if nothing else. Evil editing and MNet bs aside.... I Reaaaaaaally hope she doesn't do this.
I love her.
And i don't want to see her end up on the show only to get mocked, culturally appropriated, or used as Mnet's next fucking gimmick. Like, no.

I was thinking about this and I feel like if she was casted for UPRS, *she* wouldn't be the one to hint at it. It'd probably be in her contract to keep quiet about it until Mnet confirms it. Plus on her snapchat, Alex filmed a filming crew setting up in her apartment. So I think what happened is that she negotiated a reality show deal with Mnet and they gave her a bag of swag and she posted this to be sly.
