U-KISS Japanese activities roundup: Hoon & Kevin solo debuts plus two singles

In November they released the single Panic! featuring choreo on hoverboards

In December they released a Christmas Album featuring the ballad Lots of Love:

simultaneously they released a 2011-2016 Japanese best of 2 CD + 2 DVD set, including live footage and all their music videos, and also the DVD of the "One Shot One Kill" tour that followed "One Shot" comeback in March.

SOLOS:

Hoon made his Japanese solo debut January 31st: I believe the song is called "Snow Cherry Blossoms" but am not 100%

And way back in August but I don't think it was posted here, Kevin released a double single, "Make Me" and "Out of my life" which featured "K"

i was planning to make a post like this since idk, last summer, but never got around bc promoting lay is more important

so happy for their success in japan! also in other news, i think AJ graduated from columbia uni and is now back in korea. i am not sure but i think he gave up his idol life, he changed his insta ID and follows none of the u-kiss members on insta.

To be truthful, I hadn't the faintest idea any of this happened and went searching after the comment thread on the Eli article. And all the hard-core U-KISS fansites I can find that follow Japanese activities aren't in English, so... I probably missed things.

I do really love that NH Media doesn't make a fuss about releasing them from their contracts/letting them do what they need to do. Classy.

Japanese market is huge and they did live tours, so they do earn much better than other nugu groups in Korea.

These days i saw the interview/photoshoot Kevin and Jun had for popteen and it was so cute~ at first i didn't really understand why NH was adding someone so young, but now i see the teens/younger fans are going crazy over him haha
