I think I prefer "La la la" songs more, tho my all-time jams (OC - aing and magic girl) are on "na na na" side :/

I'm surprised at how many male groups do this... and the repeat offenders. Big Bang, jeez.

Also this reminded me how much I enjoyed KARA's Step.

I am blown away at how many SME and YGE song showed up in this.

I mean, Big Bang's debut song is "La La La", so I'm not surprised to see them all over this lmfao

(Step is SUCH a bop)

BIGBANG are the champions of this haha, Red Velvet are on their heels though - Happiness, Ice Cream Cake, Russian Roulette, I think even Be Natural goes 'oooh na na na' at some point lol.

10 years and not one from SNSD! I'm sure it'll be there in their discography somewhere though....

Does Ooh La La count?

Red Velvet are clearly the La La La queens.

As for the Na Na Na crown, I wanna give it to Orange Caramel, maybe that'll give them the incentive for one last comeback.

throwback!!

This just makes me miss Orange Caramel & After School more while seeing 'No More Dream' made me realize how long it's been since I listened to that LOL

I like the la la la songs where it comes across as kind of witchy/demonic (jackpot, ice cream cake, sleep talking), otherwise it's pretty cheesy (stay, sober - wow yg such lyrical depth), though more upbeat songs (happiness, mister, war of hormone, spy, pepe) still work - though i guess in those ones it tends to be interspersed with actual lyrics or it's just a post/pre chorus.

(like a cat was the song where i officially gave up on aoa, ha. ha.).

nana in general sounds more purposeful. also shake that brass was great, i remember it getting loads of negativity but that song is fun and ridiculous and you all need to lighten up. navillera doesn't count!

that's as far as i'm willing to get serious about analysing this, haha.

Yeah I was wondering why Navilleria was on the list. It actually has a purpose and is not just a space filler.

Well songs have a formula obviously. I think I read somewhere that people like lalas because it makes the song easier to sing along to and remember. Wait no that was for ooh's and to mostly western songs. Maybe the lalas are Korea's oohs.

Mr.'s and Step's are iconic, but my favorite is Red Velvet's creepy lalala-ing from ICC.

Fantastic Baby's and Electric Shock's nanana are the iconic ones and First Love is my fave.

I prefer random lalala's and nanana's than belting out "yes" and "no" right after the other. It makes no sense and makes me irationally annoyed, lol.

They should do eh eh eh too, a lot of early 2NE1 songs had eh eh ehs (and other groups too, but 2NE1 were the eh eh eh queens)

lmao i think i'm the worst bc i probably mix up "nanana" and "lalala" in songs a lot unless it's iconic enough or obvious enough that it's either "nanana" or "lalala"

This was enjoyable to watch. I could only think of a few when I read the title, but then as I watching I couldn't believe how many of the songs I like have both Lalala and Nanana in them.

Smiling at everyone else I think Big Bang had the most with Red Velvet and Bts coming up behind them :)
