i like the cheerful/feels song pairing for this month!

My Day isn't my fave right off the bat, but i'm sure it'll grow on me! It has the lyrics "baby you're beautiful" and i laughed when i heard it after you were beautiful

they picked the right single this month. 'you were beautiful' is the stronger song imo

this monthly release thing really keeps me engaged with the band. it seems like they're gonna do fewer radio shows (i miss those covers) but i like that they're focusing on their own music and their official releases.

My only problem with "My day" is the chorus, but I like the rest of the song.

I LOVE "You were beautiful", the chorus is totally stuck in my head. Doesn't it kinda sound like something that would release one republic? Or it's just me?

I listen mostly to One republic, that's why they came to my mind when I heard the song, lol. But yeah, both bands have a similar sound and Day6 like both, so it makes sence xD.

"You Were Beautiful" is gorgeous
"My Day" kinda sounds like it has the potential to be two diff songs (verses vs chorus) but I like the sound of both anyway

both songs are so amazing in different ways. you are beautiful is just heartbreakingly gorgeous, my day is soo fun, and i actually like the contrasting verses and chorus. day6 never fails to bring the bops

"you were beautiful" is gorgeous. i actually like "the day", it's a lot lighter then i expected it would. i can definitely see myself listening to it a lot! honestly, this group is something else. they continuously keep coming out with good music and they're amazing

After I watched 예뻤어 , I had to rewatch Congratulations and slipped into a Day6 music marathon...and I don't think I say it enough, but they have fucking great music. I seldom come across a band where I like almost all of their discography, b-sides and title songs are equally polished and it's a joy to listen to them. They are really impressive.

I don't actively follow their schedule, but I'm always here for their music.

I'm in the minority, but I love My Day. There's a part where they sing "areumdawo" near the last minute of the song or so, and ....is it a SHINee nod, or was that just a coincidence?

Another solid release from me. :)
