btob confirms their comeback

Cube Entertainment has confirmed that popular boy group BTOB is preparing for a comeback, but there is no specific concept decided yet.


An insider previously reported on February 3 that BTOB would be looking to make their comeback with a dance song within the first 2 weeks of March. The report also mentioned that the new concept was designed to attract both local and international fans with its vividness and brilliant performance, but Cube Entertainment has stated that they have not settled down on a concept just yet,

“We are currently preparing a comeback for BtoB, but a specific date and concept has not yet been decided in our discussions with the group.”

i'm sure they're busier than they've ever been... they've pretty much all had their own activities/been travelling, there was the cb late last year, the concert, and now this, an upcoming japanese tour and then international? apparently all before may? and of course sungjae especially has been run into the ground :'( he says he doesn't mind but i'm worried. still, if this is happening, can't deny i'm excited, esp if they do have another dance track a la wow or thriller! it'll be really fun to see how they handle something like that for the first time in a few years, and those perfs are amazing.

poor Sungjae looks way too tired. I can't imagine having to learn and master new choreo and while also regularly practicing old choreo for the tour.

Thriller still holds up so well whenever they perform it, I love it!

lol I wonder if Cube releases reports of a dance track to gauge online reception before retracting and releasing something vague. I remember they did the same for I'll Be Your Man.

I hope it's another Hyunsik-composed dance track! I would love to have something like New Men for a full song. If it does happen to be a mid-tempo ballad though I hope it's less like Remember That and more like It's Okay w/ choreo.

ikr lol tho to be fair i'll be your man was a high-tempo dance track compared to what they'd been releasing, just ppl only ever have like one type of thing in mind when they hear that? hyunsik was already planning/writing the track at least three months before the cb so :p

ikr! remember that is my fave of their ballad trilogy musically but i love it's okay's choreo

I'm happy with how things are going with BTOB. Tho their promotion cycle and variety activities seems like something for a group who just had their debut so they seem to be tired but they never let it show.

Looking forward to their comeback! I still think of them as babies even if its their sixth year this 2017.

Sungjae and Peniel looked so exhausted in those airport pics. The group has been busy and barely just finished their concerts. I'm excited, but can they chill for a second? Cube should have had this type of momentum for them right after Wow came out.

I hope all of the guys at least get some sleep in.

so excited for this, although not happy their promos will probably be cut short again bc of all their other schedules :< cube should really plan things better instead of rushing everything and half-assing things in the process. since it's spring, i expect it to be something colorful and fun. i can kinda see ilhoon doing a title track this time bc his songs are funkier, but ofc a hyunsik song will be a blessing 🙏 can't wait to see what concept they go for
