Introverted Boss Revising Scripts for Next Episodes

tvN drama “Introverted Boss” has announced its decision to make adjustments to the show in consideration of viewers’ opinions.

On January 31, a source from tvN stated, “Parts of the script of ‘Introverted Boss’ have been modified. We will retain the bigger picture of the story, but we took into account feedback from viewers with regards to the pacing of the episodes.”

The source added, “The viewers’s feedback will be reflected in the story when the drama resumes broadcasting on February 6 with its fifth episode.”

Previously, tvN cancelled the drama’s January 30 and 31 broadcasts for the Lunar New Year holiday. In the process, script revisions were made, and changes to the flow of the story can now be anticipated. With a reputation for producing quality romantic comedies, tvN is expected to give the drama a needed boost to overcome its low ratings hovering at 1 percent, and criticisms on its slow development.

“Introverted Boss” will continue to broadcast on Mondays and Tuesdays at 11 p.m. KST.

I personally don't dislike this show as much as others do, but there's definitely room for improvement. Hoping the quality (and the ratings) will rise.

I was actually looking forward to watching this weeks eps until I found out there weren't going to be any lol.

I'm glad that the people behind the show are determined to make it good.

good, I actually dropped this after watching the 2nd episode because I disliked the main character so much, which sucked because I loved a lot of things about the show. It's one thing to be an extrovert, its quite another to be a pushy, intrusive, brash, and highly unlikable person. I get that they were trying to make her the opposite of the Yeon Woo Jin's introverted character, but they went a little far and I just could not get behind rooting for her. I would gladly watch this show if they fine-tuned it a bit more.

Yeah their writing for her character was so bad . Theres other ways of writing an extrovert character who is very sociable and friendly. Or like maybe she feels uneasy by herself,  and more comfortable around ppl which is opp from the introverts character... I thought the premise of show was really good but very very poorly executed

in theory it's a good idea because this drama is so... let's say "lacking" and the way some characters are written is so off-putting (especially how they decided to write main female character and their perception of "introversion"). but honestly i don't remember a single drama that started revising scripts midway through the drama and the result was actually good.

I think they didnt think through hye soo extrovert character bc they have her do OTT stuff. Im glad they are rewriting bc the first 2 eps esp seemed poorly put together.

I'm glad they are rewriting, I just hope the story will still be cohesive after the rewrites. Going in a new direction and rewriting all the (already written) scripts + shooting the episodes within two weeks IS A LOT.

It goes to show how bad a show is when even omonians are fine with last minute rewrites and reshoots, whatever the outcome.

The story was confusing to me even while employing suspension of disbelief which isn't uncommon in dramaland.

Still the premise of the show had much going for it but the execution was severely lacking.

Again not that uncommon, but here's to hoping the rewrite fixes some things.
