Synopsis: What deep, dark secrets are hidden in the diary? Seo Ji Yoon is a modern-day art history professor who happens to stumble upon the secret diary of Shin Saimdang (1504-1551), a Korean artist, writer, calligraphist and poet who was the mother of Yi I, one of the two most prominent Korean Confucian scholars during the Joseon Dynasty. The diary sheds new information on the life of Saimdang and her relationship with Lee Gyeom, a painter, calligrapher and musician who was a childhood sweetheart and soulmate of Saimdang. Will the diary help Ji Yoon unravel the mysteries surrounding a painting of an unknown woman from the Joseon Dynasty?

Men are evil part 3536465456654. Also I wanna chokr her husband, even more after that scene outside of the hospital. Like you have to stay there, why be bothered by work now but the moment it was about his work - suicide phonecall - fucker stole her taxi and left just like that not explaining shit to her AGAIN. Even after how extremly shady he done her he still do not learned and does stuff like this again.

I was kinda thrown off that the young version of Lee Gyeom and that student(?) guy who caused the commotion during press con/seems to now be their neighbor are played by the same actor (he hella fine btw lol). I was wondering if there's some deeper meaning or smth?

That scene is so cute! The King & The Queen deserved this kind of scene to explain how they fall in love and why that love is unforgettable. Yet, we never got that one and left puzzled why they are attracted with each other in the first place. :(

And the actor who played the young Lee Gyeom is one of the doctor in Master Kim lol. He was a general surgeon specialist in Master Kim and now he is playing the young version of the male lead? Its kind of funny XD

After Goblin and LOTBS ended, I'm still looking for a drama to watch. This looks interesting but not sure if I'll watch though

The first two episodes were boring. Ep1 was a mess and it annoyed me how Ji Yoon was so gullible. Ep2 was slightly better. So far the only character I like is Ji Yoon's friend. Husband and Professor Min can diaf.

I hope Kim Hae Sook has a bigger role than what she had in ep1-2, because otherwise what a waste of talent.

I will watch the next two episodes before deciding whether to continue or drop.
