I did some quick research before approving the post, and this seems legit unfortunately.
Tamil (https://www.instagram.com/tam12yo/) is a "rapper" with a previously released song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlGBPYfq2DQ) under Luminant Entertainment (https://www.youtube.com/user/luminantent/videos) (the same company/distributor of Bulldok)
I thought it wasn't real until I saw his upcoming album on Melon, Naver and other music sites, but I couldn't find info on him in English. The only thing is his Naver profile posted by someone in the comments
He just kept saying it, and saying it... I don't even have words.
Also, I see a number of Korean people calling him out in the comment section, further proof that some people need to stop with the "Korean people don't know" BS tbh.
It truly is. There's an air of condescension to it as well, so many of those that use that excuse are acting as though Korean people are children/naïve innocents. idk how to fully explain it, but it just seems infantilising sometimes.
Like when a kid causes trouble and people say "oh, s/he just doesn't know any better" or something.
You're right. Like how are you going to say that South Korea, which is one of the hubs of technology, don't have the resources to educate themselves. Especially the younger generation who are interested in hip hop.
Definitely, with the mass amount of information on the internet I'm just not buying it. At least if you mess up, you should be taking steps to educate yourself rather than continue living in ignorance, and the tools are there. It's not like the issue of non-black people saying that word is some deep secret either, it's a pretty surface topic within the genre.
I know Hansol of Topp Dogg got insulted that people would even suggest he'd say it:
Yeah I don't believe they're all as uneducated and secluded as people like to make them out to be.
It's weird though because I've had a Korean tell me online that "singing a black man's song with that word is not racist". And another Korean fan specifically ask me to explain to them what is wrong with the N word because "we (Koreans) don't understand about racism".
It's weird but I don't think these rappers have much of an excuse, I mean it's January 2017 rn.
I mean for the average person who doesn't look in to hip-hop, especially those who stick mostly to Korean-centric entertainment I could understand some lack of knowledge (but even then only older gens? idk, I just assume youth to be overall more in tune with online discussion); but all care goes out when they start trying to defend themselves saying it.
These self proclaimed fans of rap or hip-hop def have no excuse, especially when more than enough people have been called out for it.
Holy shit....this is something else. Curious to see what happens after the backlash. Will there be an apology (one that shouldn't be accepted but nonetheless should be given)?
This dumbass is really just sitting there calling black people as the N word? It'd be weird enough if he was just saying "I love black people", but this... anyway I can see this won't go well for him and honestly I hope Koreans and International fans alike make an example out of him.
This video doesn't work for me either but apparently that's a fucking blessing. I do have a couple questions though
Is he saying chigga the whole time, or actually the n-word? (Not that chigga is any better obviously i'm not saying that, but rich chigga is a pretty viral thing at this point so I can't say I'm entirely fucking surprised -_-)
Who the fuck is this nobody anyways?
If you're not in A$AP Mob, or TY Dolla $ign and you have a dollar sign in your name you aint shit.
(http://imgur.com/TE8t6hE) op you have a talent for titles and I have made the conscious decision to not view the video and rely on the comments of the fellow members of the community. I am highly disappointed but not surprised by the recent k-hiphop scene, just the other day I viewed a video of Jay Park 'MOMMAE'(I think that's how its spelt) but instead of being entertained, I was in utter shock by not the music itself but the video. IDK if anybody else felt the same but I felt embarrassed for the girls and Jay Park
so K-rap scene has been cancelled for me for lord knows how long.
