5-member girlgroup f(x) have an interview recently with T-news and member Amber talks about her boyish style in the group.

Amber talked about how when she met the other members for the first time and was mistaken as a guy, “I’m not surprised by the members’ reaction, thinking that I’m a guy.”

“I enjoyed the boyish style since I was young. When I go shopping with my mother, I even go the menswear section.”

And when asked what it is like to wear menswear during promotional activities, different from the other members, Amber said, “When I was young, I wear skirts too, but I thought pants are more comfortable. And because my parents were understanding in that sense, I can make this style now.”

Not that we mind y? I thought it's nice to see not-so-girly-look on girls.

I wouldn't generalize it as that. I mean, back in highschool I wore some clothing from the men's section too due to:

comfort - I haven't worn a dress since elementary school. Not saying I'm against wearing one now I just feel like i'd be going outside half naked.

sizes - I was/is tall....and a 2x4 plank at that. Apple bottom jeans aren't cutting it for me especially when my derrié resembles driftwood more than a fruit.

style - I simply liked the stlye, especially of men's jeans. Now I've added skinny pants to my roster *which is perfect for my shape or lack of it*.

And I didn't even consider myself a tomboy. Maybe if they had left Amber's hair longer it wouldn't come off so strongly/deliberate?
