Now that I'm done with all the positives...smh at worst song of the year list having legit bangers like Lotto, Firetruck and Hard Carry (j/k about Hard Carry, I hated it at first listen and just tolerate it now) and and hdu @Flight Log:Turbulence also being worst album (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ ) Hard Carry I can sacrifice but Turbulence was a solid album! Solid!


I voted for all the categories I could. I haven't watched any kdramas or follow khiphop that much so I have no say in that stuff 😞

The Beyonce of this award ceremony, the new Adele if you will(!), deserves to sweep the competition and here is WHY:

Worst song of the year: Because Lifted is now the go-to song referenced in posts tagged /american debut on what to avoid. Even A.Leean's admittedly fried garbage of a single "Fall Back" inspired plenty of "at least it's not Lifted..." comments. Historical in every sense!

Worst Music Video:Because the Lifted video has 4 times the post comments of its nearest competion and arguably 4 times the disgust expressed! Not even her most hardcore of fans sport any sort of icon from that shoot, now THAT is an achievement.

Kpop’s Culture Vulture of the Year: Because not only did she release the infamous Lifted video to mass acclaim by yours truly, she also gifted the lucky dozens that attended her North American tour to the shelved Hello Bitches which is probably more vulture-y than most Iggy Azalea visuals. Not a single solo release has been sort of controversy, when will your faves? or your least faves, on that note?

Medal for Commitment to taking Ls: If there is one thing CL inspires the peasants such as myself is to never give up when facing adversities! Is a single not selling enough? Call it a buzz single! Not enough people interested in your single at the moment? Take a vacation and release it a year later #PerfectTiming ! Nobody wants your american debut on their late night show in the US? Promote it in Korea! Not enough music to create a tour? Perform your old band's hits and forget to invite them instead! Not getting enough buzz currently? Offend an entire religion for publicity and call it an accident! No list is more endless!

Biggest Concept Fail: Admittedly the one category I don't know how to support, considering that I have no idea which is the correct accent for a non native english speaker to have. That said, the alternatives are particularly weak so I have no doubt she's got this in the bag as well, for the sake of consistency!
