"Magic" is clearly the best song of the album. Also "Bad Love" and "Moonlight" are album favorites. Solid solo debut. That one sound in Moonlight reminds me of a song but idk what and it's bothering me.

I have waited so long for seolo and I'm not disappointed, I love every song. I kind of can't wait for SNSD to go on their extended hiatus so I can see what else Seohyun can do. Although I am curious as to why she got more leeway with her solo, from getting most of her own songs on the album to her stylist, did she fight more for it, was she just genuinely more invested than the others or did SM just not care about her lol
seohyun didn't produce or compose any of the songs, but apparently she fought super hard with SM esp for her lyrics. They basically told her to not expect any of her lyrics to make the cut... and then had 6/7 made it. She also chose her own title track.
i think she fought super hard. she's also super stubborn so I don't put it past her to be like "this is the way i want it".
Don't Say No is a good title for me, not my favourite song from the mini but sometimes, simple is good. Magic and Bad Love are perfection omg. Let me have those on loop for the next hours! I really like Moonlight too, it's nice to end the mini with such a smooth, dreamy song that showcases her lower register.
I'm really proud of her. as others said, magic is everything but bad love is right up there. moonlight is also great and I was digging lonely love. overall a solid album with some gems. I never expected the title track to be spectacular, but it is decent.
